Just for further reference, I am not trying to start a lovefest or a trash talk about a player. I saw ESPN talking about a new QB in Wisconsin. I know Curt went there. Just looking for a simple answer. Not a Badger fan at all and hate the BIG TEN.

Refreshing to read more than the 2006 44-0 game. I knew with all those wins you should have more in the arsenal. So are the 2006 and 2009 the only memorable games for DB?

Not really a big deal. I just found it funny how many pages are full of the same thing. I didn't realize you could take up that much room with those two lines. It passes the day.

You as a DB fan, honestly what would you consider a moral victory for these "jerry's kids" you play? I use South because this is the South vs Dobyns-Bennett thread. Maybe I should ask it this way since you are a DB fan. What would be a moral defeat for DB? Since it's obvious the scoreboard will read in your favor. Nevermind, I guess there is no such thing as a moral defeat. You really wouldn't be able to learn anything helpful from a loss.

A moral victory occurs when a person, team, army or other group loses a confrontation, and yet achieves some other moral gain. Since it has already been ascertained that DB will go 10-0, thus winning this game, what do you believe would be considered a moral victory?

Serious question, not looking for the response if DB doesn't play. Somebody is thinking it.

I know noone can forget the past. However there is a game next week. Is there a point to playing this game? Just wondering. It seems a forgone conclusion that DB will finish 10-0. That would mean after next friday night they will be 3-0. Curious to see if anyone can see a way that South wins.

Can anyone bring anything new to these played out arguments? Class? As with fans of all teams, there are those that lack it. Neither side wins this one. 44-0 vs. 1 and Done? I think the 44-0 argument gets the edge. Even if a team loses in the 1st round of the playoffs it doesn't matter if they beat you. Annexation? Not the place for politics, but it has more to do with than just one school taking football players. IMO, this argument is out of the question because its out of control. School size? Going with week 0 results, Greeneville and Betsy both beat bigger schools. So size doesn't matter. Silliness? TIE!

Injury Update!!!! My buddy FMo may be out for the year. He missed our friday game with back problems. Had surgery this weekend and may not make it to a single game this year. Good news he came out of ICU yesterday into a regular room in JCMC. He is extremely bummed with no football. Not sure if he has the ability to keep up with Coach T, but please keep him in your prayers. Not the same without you on fridays bud. I'll keep you posted.
