By the looks of the all-state selections, it looks to me to be the same as the miss basketball selections. To me, the reason for nine 7-A players to make this list is the same as for Laken winning miss basketball. There's an excessive amount of sportswriters in Middle Tennessee, and it's unfair to the rest of the players in other regions of the state. IMO, there should be a change. Too many players are getting the shaft. Yes, many of those players are very deserving of the all-state selection, but there are also many others throughout the state that could make the same case for the selection but weren't added to the list because the amount of sportswriters from Middle Tennessee outweighed the amount in the region.

Does anyone know where you can see pictures from this game?

I'm sure everyone in Oliver Springs is hoping your coach thinks just like you do because this ISN'T the case at all. Christopher's supporting cast has got overlooked all year, and I'm sure they'd love nothing more than to prove you and everyone else in Lake County wrong. Are you trying to do a little scouting or what bigster?

I think Oliver Springs has proved they are one of the better teams in A this year. They have given Clarkrange all they wanted on two occasions. The game at Clarkrange was much closer than the score showed, and they gave them all they could handle at home. No one else besides Jackson County has given them that game. As for the game Wednesday, everyone at this stage is good. I haven't seen Lake County, but I'm sure it'll be a good game. I just don't see OS going home though.

Coach, have you saw OS and Wartburg this year?

How are these teams? Can they match up with the two strong teams from Region 2?

What are the thoughts about these games?

I don't know anything about the Region 1 teams. Who is picked to win this game tomorrow night?

Who will match up with Cookville and Blackman Saturday?

Playermom, post players mean a lot to any team. That's many rebounds and quite a few points for OS, especially from the Bilyeu girl. All we do is watch the game. We don't realize how much this messes with a team when one of their better scorers/rebounders doesn't even get to come to the game. As for next year, I wouldn't count OS out. People like you are going to overlook them like you are already doing, and they'll catch you off guard. As for Monday night, I'll take OS by 12 in the championship game, and I'll take Wartburg in a barn burner by 3 in the consolation game.

Jacketmom, no one on here is hounding Coalfield. All that was even mentioned of was that Oneida might beat them in the semifinal game. I'm not taking anything away from Coalfield. They are a very good team, but I just don't think this year is their year. By no means am I hounding them! The only reason this one will be within 25 points is because Clarkrange takes their starters out very early trying to save them for the busy week they have this week.

Clarkrange has size that a lot of A teams lack. I think they would be able to compete in AA and AAA due to the size they have. You don't come across many teams that have two girls over 6 foot that could both me nominated for Miss Basketball in Molly Heady and Tasha Phillips.

I don't think the Roane County superintendent approved the game due to Roane County cancelling school today.
