Huntland has a huge win tonight at the NEST. Great crowd and a lot of support for the team.

I agree the tournament good be a great one. Teams 1 thru 6 are equal on any given night.

Hornets win with a second half explosion. HUGE game with Forrest friday night. Second place is on the line if Eagleville beats Cascade. I expect the nest to be full for this one.

Hornets vs Moore co big game for the Hornets.

#3 came out smoking hot for the eagles and #43 i think was a beast down low. Hornets cut the lead to 6 in the 3rd but got no closer. The hornets have forrest and moore co left, no time to drop your heads. Keep working hard good things can still happen. Forrest by 40 over cascade, wow.

Huntland wins over Boyd. Game vs. Eagleville has been moved to thursday night. Should be a great game at the hornet nest. Both teams are playing well. I like the hornets playing in front of a rowdy home crowd.

Hornet did not play well until the 4th and pull out a win. Boyd is next district game. Keep working hard and do not get happy with what you have done.

I think you are selling Huntland a little short. They have 3 excellent guards who can shoot. I saw them play against Forrest. They are as good as anyone in the district. As I have said before, anyone in this district can beat anyone else with maybe the exception of Boyd, but even they play hard. If Forrest can get all of their injured back, they will be competitive. The Bishop kid has had a hurt back for about the last month and has tried to play through it. I think he is the best pure shooter in the district when he is healthy, but that is something all teams have to play through this time of year. I feel the district tournament is going to be very exciting this year. Good luck to everyone. Actually I am not selling the hornets short, I have seen them play every game. They start and have 4 pretty good guards. Check all the predictions not many gave them a chance in this district. They ave played through the suspension of players and an injury to another. I think most coaches in this county teach a full load of classes. I know all the coaches at Huntland and the middle school have 1 period off for planning. Why would a person not want to teach class if he is hired to be an educator. If Mac did not want to teach he should have worked for the coaching supplement which is not much or he could volunteer and not teach. FCHS is much better off with hire that they made. Congrats Coach Carr.

The huntland School graduate is an excellent hire. Hes loyal and he works hard. FC will win if the sideline coaches will leave him alone, if not you will be looking for another coach in 2 years.

Ugly win by the Hornets over a gutsy Moore County team who upset MTCS last night, Keep playing hard and get better each week. A tough game at MTCS Tues night.

Huntland seems to be on a roll this week with wins over both Forrest and cascade. Team is coming together at the right time. Nobody picked them to win either game. Keep playing hard. Moore County is coming to town tomrow night. No let downs defend your turf. GO HORNETS

Huntland looked good in their three games. Shot the ball really well and played really well as a team. Keep working hard...

If she is eligible. Transfered to FCHS and was ruled ineligible on a hardship. Then transfers to MCHS. The big question from the TSSAA is was the move for athletic reasons, the answer is yes because she could not play at FCHS. She should be ineligible to play this year whether she moved or not.

Alot of you were predicting a blowout and the subs would play the second half. The subs didnt make it into the game. good luck in the playoffs.

Huntland played both forrest and cascade and based on the performance of both teams against us forrest is the better team right now. Good luck Chapel Hill (i dont like the new name i am old school and prefer to use the old drvc school name).

The Huntland kids showed up and played hard. We are proud of you for not throwing in the towel and fighting to the end. # 80 showed a lot of heart by playing in the game after his father passed away this morning. Keep your heads up you have nothing to be ashamed of. By the way i thought both teams showed a lot of class during the game by helping each other up the whole game.

68 points, you cant assume they would make all the extra points, they missed 2 i think. Forrest is good, the team and coaches has class, most of the rest of you could not define class.

Please dont encourage others to act out by defending the actions of those who were ejected. By defending these people you accept the fact that it is okay to use foul language in front of kids and all who are close enough to here. Also even if you are upset at calls at a game it is not acceptable to act like those who were ejected. The young men on the field did not act out in frustration with any of the calls. That must be thanks to the forrest coaches. Good luck the rest of the way.
