dekalb vs cookeville tonight Dekalb on top 4-3

Dekalb played Cookeville in a scrimmage tonight and lost 4-3 . Good game. Took it till the last but Dekalb pulled through!

Chandra Brooks and Victoria Bennett will be playing at Cumberland University next year. It will be an interesting year watching them play against eachother!! I look forward to it!! DeKalb and Macon will be top two this year. Unless one of the other teams really steps up.

You cannot just base on the fact that they are not goin to THE BORO because of some out players. I think DC will have a strong group once again. They have talent coming up. Yes they did lose their catcher but they have another that is just as good. The DC will never give up!! i expect them to be in the BORO once again. Smith, Cannon, and Macon will still have to step up big time to beat these DC girls!! They have strong upperclassmen and one signee that I know of so I expect a strong team....as usual. Coach Bond does a great job with the girls and I expect nothing less thisyear!!

I believe DeKalb once again will be the top dog in 7-AA. They have many returnees and one signee. They are always competing for the district title. They will be a tough team. I expect second to be Macon unless other teams step up.

it does seem they have an improved team. . no matter how good or bad you think a team is the main thing is heart and i have seena lot of heart from these girls. they have the fire, they will surprise someone there is still time.

it was closer than anyone expected. it was a sloppy game. everyone expected a blow out from smith, but the dc girls held on tight till the end. . . im still waiting for the district win for the dc girls (i think it will be soon)

watertown vs dekalb saturday night, i believe. it should actually tell how much worse that they have gotten from last year to this year. .

yes they do , they are certainly some of the best in the state, i was there and saw last night. but it still does me good to see a team such as Dekalb going into a rough game like that and not give up. I have seen many teams just give up in a situation such as last night, I believe they will get a district win finally this year, im not saying against upperman perhaps but someone else in the district.

i didnt get to make the game, but i heard that dekalb beat coffee in a pre season play day, So warren should've won. . what happened?

yes shockley is a good coach. .. he's been there two yrs. and last year he won over double the games they ahve done in prev years. . dont get me wrong it was only 5 last year. but he has showed lots of improvement in his girls. . /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

i agree i have seen dekalb play this year.. they have a lot of talent. . only one senior. . but has many leaders on the floor
