I've mostly stayed out of this thread this week because of the foolishness, but I am here to say congratulations to Peabody. You deserve it. Please don't run over my sweatervester children on their way home from the game with their TC friends.

They were both hurt in the Meigs game. Sorry I hurt your feelings. I assume both are playing in this game. 5 has hyper-extended elbow and 8 has shoulder injury. Not sure how it will affect the passing game.

I meant both TC QB's.

I would love to see our neighbors to the west get a solid hire here. Gallatin is a place where a good coach can have success.

Someone mentioned earlier that he was similar to Lee Maasen from the FC teams a while back. I think that was a pretty good comparison.

With 5 out we’ve reverted back to the offense we ran against whitewall. We will not win with this offense.

I think you can say the same about TC. They can beat anyone left when clicking on all cylinders. They could also lose by multiple scores if not. Wish I could be there to try one of those fish sammiches I keep hearing about, but I’ll be out of the country the next couple of weeks. Hopefully i’ll have a Meigs v TC game to watch when I get back.

The Kentucky officiating makes the Mid TN officials look like pros. The games against Mayfield and Graves a decade or so back were laughable. I wouldn't mind a trip to Bowling Green though. I can find plenty of good places to eat there.

I haven’t seen the other three teams, but Whitwell wouldn’t win 2A this year. Watertown would beat them by multiple scores.

I don’t mind not throwing the ball much, but there needs to be more creativity on offense.

I thought we looked considerably worse and on offense and even more predictable than before. I would say definitely not unless we change something with the offense.

And why in the world does #6 still not see many touches?

The defense seems to be improving and is very good. I agree about the offense. We Can’t just line up and try to out-talent(is that a word) the other team.

Great ball game, and great sportsmanship from both sides. Our offensive play calling is still very poor. We continue to shoot our selves in the foot and neglect to use our speed advantage. Should have won this game by multiple scores. Whitwell is very well coached. Loved the play call for their touchdown in regulation, even if they had multiple linemen blocking WAAAYYY down field. TC has the talent to win it all, but coaching will hold them back. Probably a second round exit at Tyner unless they make some changes. I’ll be there to cheer the kids on regardless.

Him winning it last year was quite laughable. He is a very good player though.

... and still too many unforced errors by the Jackets. They have got to clean those up if they want to make deep in the playoffs.
