  1. My kids are in much better schools now, taking dual enrollment as a freshman. If you think TC has a good school system, you may be part of the problem. TC has made improvements the past couple of years, but they are still not up to par. There is a difference between improving scores and actually being good.
  2. Someone in this thread mentioned they prefer a good school over good sports teams, if they had to choose between the two. I hate to break it to you but the school system is not very good in TC. Its the main reason we left. I know of several others th hat have left also. Clint has not done a very good job there. We still pull for the jackets and will be there to support the kids tomorrow.
  3. There is a down cycle in talent that Tc hasn’t seen in a while. Most people knew it was coming. Leadership issues have run off a few others. There does seem to be quite a bit of talent on the way, but it is all 6th grade and below. The next couple of years may not be any better than this one.
  4. I’ve said for years that Clint is the biggest hindrance to TC athletics and the school system in general It won’t change much until he is out of the picture He is the biggest reason my kids are in a different school system and I know others have removed theirs for the same reason. I’ve watched most of these kids grow up and still love and cheer for them. I know tonight was tough on them. I am proud of the effort that they poured into the game
  5. I always enjoy the trips to ER. Great place to watch a football game. Good luck to both teams.
  6. I agree that they are the two best players in the team. That is not what the discussion about. It can’t be that hard to follow the topic being discussed.
  7. I know zero about SC but am excited to see how MJ stacks up. We should know more about the Bears by the end of this game.
  8. Again, your lack of comprehension is the issue here. I said they were solid but not among the TC greats. Go to your safe space if you are so easily offended.
  9. I’ve watched the majority of their games since youth league. I’m sorry that you don’t comprehend the topic at hand.
  10. I’ll have to disagree with you here. Neither one of them are dynamic, game changing players. They are solid, but probably not in the discussion of TC greats.
  11. This was one of the more exciting games I have seen in awhile. White county has a nice one-two punch with the RB and QB running the ball. I can’t imagine how many yards the RB would have had if the defense had to respect the passing game. Whatever college the RB ends up at will be be getting a special player.
  12. McCall will be an excellent DOS. Everyone has know for a while that the talent was going to be way down on the field for the next few years. Getting rid of the Satterfield’s and all of the BS that comes along with them will do wonders IMO.
  13. Has Hartsville finally had enough of the Satterfields or will they continue to stay in the stone ages?
  14. I’ve enjoyed listening to you and Cheese the last few years. Good luck in your future endeavors. You aren’t the only one tired of some of the BS that goes on around there. After 16 years in TC, We left last year and know many Hartsville natives that have followed. I also know two families that moved there at the beginning of the year and are already headed back out. Hartsville has become very toxic.
  15. Virology 101 tells us as viruses mutate they become more contagious, but less deadly(100% of the time). Are will still going to be canceling games for COVID a few years from now when there will be exponentially more cases, but minimal symptoms for most? At what point does common sense outweigh the ignorance?
  16. I am excited to take in my first MJ game in over 30 years. I’ve been watching mostly 1a and 2a games and can’t wait to get back to watching big boy football.
  17. Actually, it was funded by the board keeping the kids in school only two days a week once Clint didn't get his precious tax increase to pay for it. It's sad what some people will do with no regard for how it affects the wellbeing of all of the kids.
  18. Maybe the boro and Nashville decided it wasn't worth the trouble to deal with hosting the games. TSSAA needs to get back to representing the interests of the member institutions if they want more cities to place bids.
  19. They had quite a few 8 man teams when I was in San Diego about 30 years ago. It's pretty exciting to watch. Quite a few of those kids were recruited to big time football. The best of those players was Heisman winner Rashaan Salaam.
  20. That is part of Clint's problem and one of the reasons he gets laughed at when applying for other jobs. He does whatever he wants (good or bad) without getting input from others.
  21. I don't agree with most of what ghost is saying, but going to Clint will not solve anything. He has made it clear that he has no interest in hearing what parents or community members have to say about anything. His act is wearing thin on all of the new blood that is moving into the county.
