Peabody will be the favorite to win. After the taking a licking against Westviev. Peabody best be on their toes.

No diserspectment meant i agree . Humboldt has alot of work to do on offense it must improve fast before Friday to kept it close for 3 quarters to have a chance at a win.

Mr 87 i didnt get to go last week. But my buddy told that they better get the o going. Not to going to question Coach Reid but just dont think the wingt is going to work. The Vikes need to go back to power football but thats my imo. Humboldt's defense will keep them in the game. But the o has to get going to win this one. The same as the Dogs posters were last week u only had 5or 6 posters all week. Dont get to happy to beat a banged up Tiger team. I have a cousin that lives in Lexington and he told me the Tigers had 4 starters out including Tisdale the best back they have. No i dont think Humboldt will win Friday unless the o gets in gear!

The Rice kid was a reciever last year and also a back up QB. He is not very big about 6 ft maybe not quite but close around 160 to 170 lbs give or take a pound or two. Hadnt got the arm Montague had last year but has a descent arm. If the OL grows up quick. I think Coach Ried will have him throwing short passes to kept the defense honest. He wears number 18 if that will help like i have say has very good hands. As always the Vikings have 4 to 5 backs they can throw at you. I look for Watson and Agnew both to have good years. Speed and power in the backfield for the Vikings. Watson as speed and is as strong as a bull. Agnew not only as speed but some power as well. When it all comes togather for the Vikings. They will be alot better than some teams think. Rice is a southpaw to.

Humboldt is big for a 1A school. Defense will get better and will set the Vikings up for some big wins this season. Rice is a smart and good hands QB. Once the Vikings get the wingt down. Watson and Agnew will pick up alot of yards. If the line blocks Watson will run crazy and Agnew is a darn good athlete just needs to keep his head on straight!

I think Viking fans were happy to play a solid team like Adamsville to a 7-7 tie. The defense played well last Friday night! They do have good size as Cardrules08 pointed out the defense is could be better than last years team. Offense once the Vikes work out the wrinkles it will be fine. Rice the QB will be fine smart and has good hands. Good luck to the Cards and Vikings on the upcoming season. But feel for the boys this hot weather is a killer!

No since in getting one of your best players hurt. I believe Humboldt fans remembered what happen last year.

As of now Joesph Rice is going to be the starter. Koffman had a concusion and not been cleared by the Doctor. Rice does not have great size. But is smart and has good hands.

So do i just hope Humboldt can have a good showing against the Cardinals.
