  1. Great first we send our jobs to India now they want our help to send baseball over there.....kind of funny isn't it...................
  2. Riverdaleman Riverdale won 5-2 now get it right!
  3. Has Pat Raley signed with any college yet? My son really liked him as his catcher this past summer with the Outlaws............
  4. First of all I do know more than you and I did read all your posts...... how do you know he was throwing 82-83 in the spring, did you gun him.... no you did not, you guessed (by that radar eye you have I guess) that he was throwing 82-83 and you were wrong then just as you are now........ it's funny how people get on here and comment with off the cuff comments about kids and when you call them on what they say they can't prove what they say........ do some research first and then comment with facts about these kids..........
  5. Columbiaguy & dogonedog - if you go to Perfectgame and check under the 17U BCS you can get a daily report of all the games played in Ft. Myers that week. Orphanos pitched his last game 7/18/09 against the Orlando Scorpions and the Franklin Outlaws won 9-1. Here is the report for that game........ Chris Orphanos (2010 Riverdale HS, TN) pitched a complete game as the Franklin Outlaws defeated the Orlando Scropions by a score of 9-1 to advance to tomorrows semifinals. Orphanos went all 5 innings allowed 3 hits and 1 run while striking out 5 and walking 1. He pitched in the high 80's and topped out at 88mph. He's got also got a good curve ball and a deceptive arm angle to go along with solid compact mechanics. So Columbiaguy & dogonedog so I guess you both need to recalibrate your radar eye...........
  6. I hope Orphanos gets a chance to pitch against you or your son.................
  7. Elite is like top 64 17U teams in the nation as rated per Prefectgame. Franklin Outlaws played some of the best talent in the nation all summer long, traveling to East Cobb WWBA, Auburn, Tourment of Champions in Cincinnati and Prefect Game BCS in Ft. Myers. They played only ranked teams all summer. The last win of the summer was against the Orlando Scorpions (ranked #5 with the #1 pitcher in the nation for the class of 2010 pitching) and they won 9-1. They placed 3rd in the Perfect Game BCS at Ft. Myers - so much for Tennesse teams not being able to compeat!
  8. "He graduated, headed to OLE MISS." Nate will graduate 2010 and yes he is headed to Ole Miss
  9. Carter Watson on Sunbelt team for 2009 - he wasn't even Siegels best pitcher let alone the best in district 7AAA. What a joke!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations to Josh Lee, Chris Marconcini and Nathan Forrest - GO OUTLAWS!
  10. That's not how region 3 & 4 were selected. The Shelbeyville coach (who by the way was also last years coach for region 3 & 4) along with Columbia and two other head coaches selected the team. I thought it was funny how each head coach there had 5-7 players from thier own team also there. TBCA showcase is a joke! select the best players not who the head coach knows...............
  11. Riverdale beat Warren County 14-4 & 10-1
  12. ...orphanos pitched the first out in the 5th he gave up 4 runs only 2 runs were earned I
  13. Orphanos is #1 for Riverdale, last year he pitched against Blackman and we won 9-1 threw a three hitter, 10 K, 2 walks. Blackmans 1-4 hitter went 1-12 against him. Last year at siegel he threw a 1 hitter, 10 K, no walks and we won 6-0. Last year he pitched against Lebanon and we won 1-0, he threw a 2 hitter, 8 K and no walks. You call that not dominating pitching? Davis is #2 for Riverdale, last year he was a hard thrower will little control, this year it will be different. His control so far this spring has greatly imporved and he will be a great #2 for Riverdale.
  14. Packmanintheboro, I beg of you please get your facts correct before you come on here and start stating false facts about the god like pitcher Carter Watson. Watson was 7-1 last season with a 2.28 ERA 78 K's in 59.1 innings for a ratio of 1.32 k's/innings. The stats are located on the TBCA website. There were other starting pitchers in 7AAA that were just as good and had a better ERA.
