Here is a theory to consider: Grace Baptist really didn't have a chance. By halftime of the game every thing was shaping up to be a Clarksville Academy Day from their students singing the National Anthem, gaining a 15 point lead, and to their mascot performing for the "haltime show." It seemed that at the end of the game all the awards from the state championship, Mr. Basketball, and the cheerleading award would all go to Clarksville as well. The one thing not many counted on was Grace Baptist making a huge comeback playing with all the determination and drive to win the game. Certainly this could not happen and spoil the perfect Clarksville day, so the refs needed to determine the outcome with no calls or poor calls giving Clarksville a 35 to 16 difference in free throw shots which in the end determined the outcome of the game. The perfect day for Clarksville was saved and poor Grace Baptist and their fans were left to watch the celebration.

You got the point spread right on the GraceSouth Pitt game but the wrong winner. Grace pulls out of the upset and comes away with a big win.

Bigbird you should just become a Grace fan. You sound more like one everyday!!

Any player that punches a fan should be suspended, it doesn't matter if the player is the star player or a sub off the bench. Buckner showed he has a problem with his temper when he pushed the Humbolt player in the head during the game.

If Buckner was involved in throwing punches, he should be suspended and not play another game period.

The only solution for some on this board is to just allow teams from the west a trip to the boro because none of the teams from the east can measure up to their greatness. In their opinion this would protect the feelings of those poor boys from the east when they are blown out. You people that whine because you feel the "two" best teams are playing each other first make the rest of your fans look bad. You show a total disregard for the other six teams that have played hard to get there. We don't know who the best team is, that's why the games are played. Some of you need to get a grip and a life and just show up and support your team and quit crying like babies.You might also show a little respect to the players, coaches, and fans of those "less" qualified teams.

My, My, My a little cocky aren't we? You should be careful making these kind of assumptions. You are setting yourself up for a big fall!!!!

To all the Buffalo fans: We are praying for you to have a safe trip to and from Chattanooga and safety for your players as they play. I hope you will find Grace Academy to be very hospitable to your fans and your team. Please don't let the unkind comments, some on here say, be a reflection of the entire Grace nation. Grace does not condone that type of talk. I will say get ready for our student section. They will be there in full force ready to cheer their eagles on to victory. See you tonight!!!!

Congratulations to the Golden Eagles for playing a great game last night. You guys never quit and showed great mental toughness. Also, congratulations to the coaching staff. You have done a great job getting this team ready to play these kind of games at this point in the season. This is hilarious coming from someone at Boyd. Boyd fans are some of the worst fans I see. I have seen few Boyd fans win or lose with class! Congratulations to Grace for a great win against Temple. They outplayed Temple almost the entire game. Also, the students at Grace came out again in support of their teams and were great. I look forward to the Region Tournament. GO GRACE!!!

Congratulations to both the girls and boys teams of Grace. They are both in the championship games on Tuesday. I guess the coaching has gotten better!!

Grace is rolling pretty well right now.They have played some tough games in the past couple of weeks and come away with wins.Grace will be ready tonight against Silverdale. It won't be close. Grace wins by 20 or more.

You should know if you follow sports at all that anything can happen on any given night. Grace losing to Silverdale was like the perfect storm...anything that could go wrong went wrong. A lot of great teams have lost games they shouldn't have lost.

Comments about poor coaching and not using the talent we have get old after a while. For the size of our school we could not have accomplished athletically all that has been accomplished over the past seven or eight years if the coaches were poor and our talent was not being used appropriately. We could all agree that we would do some things differently, but we do not see all that happens in practice or know all there is to know about the team. I am proud of how our team played Friday night against Temple. I am also proud of our fans and our student section. Way to come out and support your team!! It was a great game!! I think the Silverdale loss might turn out to be the best thing for our school and our team!!!! My prediction for Tuesday night against CSAC: Grace Wins!!
