In the end that is why the classification exists, so that the competition is more fair and balanced with demographics of population and region. The real shame is how single A gets no attention from media and scouts etc. Even though there are great players and probably better games do to the focus on fundamentals and defense.

the topic? this is an 11A thread, and sure 12A seems to have the better teams right now, but do any of you know how good a team is until they play? You cant count someone out of a fight that hasnt started yet. Also, its a LONG season, people get hurt, people emerge, and teams win and lose a lot of games. Thats the beauty of sport, you always have a chance. I can guarantee that not all 12A teams will advance to the semifinals. Its a sport, nothing is definate

It sounds like you guys have a bit of an attitude problem, maybe if you accept it and try beat her out and be the best player on the team you will have a better season and more enjoyable experience with athletics. The main thing is that you guys are a TEAM and you need to work together, sure there are great players on each team, but those 2 players couldnt win without the other 3 on the court playing a role.

great stuff! you should do that for the boys as well, or 11A for that matter, great in depth look at those teams. I definately agree that 12A might possibly be the best district in the state this year, and there are some excellent players. It will be interesting to see how much better or if they really are better than everyone from 11A...anyone know of any pre-season scrimmages or play days involving the region?

TSSAA has plenty of ways to be eligible for the next year, mainly being a change in permanent address and the 'hardship' identification. There are also a few other ways to make it happen, I would be interested to know if anyone knows for sure if they are eligible and how they qualified. I feel like if Lemire is the #12 pg from past years at Hampshire, then that is a great addition to Santa Fe, and for sure makes them a solid team.

Come on...look at Cornersville and possibly SF or CA... I mean, these teams are just as talented and MORE proven than 12a's are in the last few years
