Just to throw this out there, Dodson from santa fe is one heck of a player too!

Who do you all think is the best female player in 1A? I know there is a good one in Cornersville, and a couple more in Santa Fe's region. But who else is atop the list in 1A?

wow, thanks for supporting the fans...i do agree that Santa Fe has a great fan base, myself included, and we are all ready for another year of basketball!!! most of the teams have good fans, and we need to continue to support the students out on the court.

and tyme...were you there? I would love to know how it actually went...seeing as you know everything about Summertown from all your past posts... you seem to be in the mix with SHS athletics...did Santa Fe play well? how bout that bubba kid,he play well?

funny....but yeah I actually heard about that... apparently it was a scrimmage/practice with the latter half being more of a game type situation. I heard our boys looked good against summertown, and Im ready to watch the actual season...but anybody else know anything about scrimmages this week?

Like I said,as the season gets nearer, Im getting bolder...after all, if none of you know what santa fe has, and I don't know what santa fe has, then they could be a good team this year.... Back to the NEW CHAMPION/11A part... Anybody know of any team scrimages coming up in the next week or so??? That would be a better way to check out our district,and region....

As for this year, I saw a little summer action and heard a lot more, i don't think that cully will be at the three spot or maybe the four... somewhere in the middle will probably be where they end up. Hey and you know what, i don't know much about Santa Fe, but im gettin excited....so what the heck, I say Santa Fe will finish ahead of Culleoka....

i think,if anything he is just saying its not a powerhouse in baseball. mostly he is making fun of the comment about some of the best? players in the country

At the next level, you are probably right 2b/3b. Regardless, I would look for him to be one of the best players in single A this year, and that's as a junior.

I feel like the top 3-4 teams will be competitive with each other, and I don't think you can ever have a PRESEASON CLEAR CUT #1. The top teams will win and lose, thats why its a game....

6'4??? when I saw them play last year in santa fe, one was maybe 6'2 while the other was shorter. DID THEY GROW THAT MUCH? Or was that a little exaggeration???

I know I dont know much, but I think that Gardner boy still plays at the school. As for any news news, like I said Im not really in the loop of things yet. I think I did hear something about a new player in culleoka though...but I dont know for sure.

Staggs here in Santa Fe is the real deal, i think he made state as a sophomore. best SS ive seen in a long time, can pitch well too....and then theres his offense

I don't think it's CA...Richland and everybody else... I can see CA being up there, but Richland is no lock for a top spot...I believe they lost some good seniors last year...also, Mt. Pleasant is going to be competitive, they always have athletes, and this is a chance for them to start out fresh in a new district. As for Santa Fe, I really needs your guys help...I know nothing about this years team, and cant recall what they have talent wise...but the rest of the teams (hampshire{no one really knows, there seems to be some booming confidence coming from those fans} culleoka{interested to see what their coach can do without his recruitees...i mean...well without any bigs or stellar point scorers} cornersville{ they lost stiles and darnell, i think they have some quick returning players...could see them attempt a fast-break style this year} thats all the teams right? hmm..Im glad those boys dont have to travel to moore county and huntland anymore) Some questions... 1.) Who was 1st and 2nd in the Maury County tournament 4 years ago(the seniors this year)? 2.) Who are the best individual players in the district?/pre-season all-district team 3.) ARE YOU READY FOR SOME HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL???

Does anyone know how many seniors they lost? or if they have a big-time player this year?

Not to get off topic but, looking at the team schedules in 11A it seems that Cornersville and Santa Fe have the toughest schedules in the district. I am interested to see how the teams in the district do early on... because right now everyone's going on last year and afterall this is a new year, and I agree nomad there will be a new champion.

Well im not really in the loop yet this year, id say its still too early for predictions...maybe ill wait til preseason camps...anyways, i don't know much about the district this year...
