Middle TN spends all year ranking their teams...now, it is a problem for someone (who has done this for the last couple of years, BTW) to do it for Chatt? Why comment if you don't care?

Grace is hosting CSAS this evening in a Region 3A semi...as with the baseball game, this was also moved to tonight.

Why are we getting spammed with travel ball tournaments from Alabama?

Why would you want to play Rec ball if there was any chance of screwing up your high school team...there is enough fastpitch year around that it is not going to kill anyone to wait a week or two....Why are you trying to get around the rules?

It's pretty clear in the TSSAA Handbook...Bascially..no independent games...period.

I am not really seeing where this is "God" like power....Do you really want the high school coach having the ability to control your daughter from the moment she becomes a 9th grader until she graduates?

I guess going to Hoover, AL is a big trip for you but it has little to do with ASA Nationals...however, Indian is correct...this is way sidetracked.

Yet those mid TN teams that wish to really be tested still manage to find a way to go and do very well in some cases. For the rest of you, it's kind of like bragging you won the NIT because you could not make the NCAA...

In school ball, it would seem you would do your best not to rub the other team in the dirt as there is not necessarily the freedom of to play or not to play, plus most teams don't recruit and can only play with what has enrolled. The sympathy becomes much less so in travel ball as you have willingly put yourself out there. In this day and age, though, I would be scared to do that to a team after what happened to the basketball coach in Dallas.

Yes but what about mediocre pitching (SD) versus no hitting (RB)? These should be interesting games...if Soddy flinches they will lose but since Red Bank can't hit their way out of a paper bag, I would not give it away yet.....Didn't RB chase away the Bair kid?

They are 6-3 after winning yesterday against Marion Co. according to the newspaper...They lost to Soddy earlier and must have lost a couple in a tournament...Don't know though....

A last at bat loss is not necessarily grounds to swap them at this point though I do think Soddy is probably the top team...Ooltewah did beat Central 3-0...
