I'm not saying UC has a bad coach. I just know some coaches get a little more out of their players. As tourny time rolls around the coaches will play a big roll in how far a team goes. I think lake co. has a good coach, but they have not got to the level they should. They have had teams the last 2 years that were able to bring the gold back to 14a. Not sure why they fell short. Bradford has been lucky the past few years with the two coaches they have had. but the coach before them had bradford at the bottom of the heap. When shane took over, he started working the girls at a young age. Larry has done the same.

WHAT I AM SAYING IS AFTER LAKE CO. THERE ARE 4 OR 5 TEAMS THAT HAVE A GOOD CHANCE. UC HAS ALOT GOING FOR THEM. THE SIZE OVER BRADFORD IS GREAT. BUT BRADFORD HAS SPEED OVER UC. GREENFIELD IS ALOT LIKE BRADFORD IN THAT THEY HAVE GREAT COACHING. BOTH TEAMS CAN AND HAVE HAD GOOD SEASONS WHILE REBUILDING. THIS YEARS TEAM IS STREET'S TEAM. THAT HELPS ALOT. THEY HAVE SOME GOOD SHOOTERS. THEY ALSO HAVE SOME GOOD FRESHMEN AND EIGHT GRADERS THAT WILL ONLY GET BETTER. ONE 9th GRADER IS STREET'S KIN FOLK. 2 EIGHT GRADERS ARE M. RICHARDSON'S KIN. IF BRADFORD GETS LUCKY AGAIN THIS YEAR IN THE SEATING IN THE TOURNAMENT THEY CAN MAKE A SPLASH. IF NOT THEY ARE ALSO A TEAM ON THE UP SWING. BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY LAKE CO. IS HEADS ABOVE THE REST.

I said this last year and took alot of heat, but the stars fell and bradford went farther. I feel they have a better TEAM than last year. It will take the stars again, but if they stay away from lake co., they could make some noise.

I CAN'T RECALL HER NAME. IT'S THE BIG GIRL (I THINK SHE WAS A FRESHMAN LAST YEAR) THAT BROUGHT THE BALL DOWN SOME LAST YEAR. SOLID DOWN LOW. SHE SEEMED TO SCORE 20 A GAME, AND AT WILL. IF SHE WAS JUST A FRESHMAN WITH THE SKILLS SHE SHOWED LAST YEAR, SHE IS THE REAL DEAL. NOT SAYING THE OTHERS ARE NOT BUT WITH SOME COACHING SHE WILL BE PUTTING ON A SHOW BEFORE SHE LEAVES UC. SHE HAS A RAW GAME NOW BUT WITH HER SIZE AND SPEED SHE WILL CAUSE TROUBLE FOR OTHER TEAMS.

Lake co is with out a doubt the 14a favorites. But watch out for union city. They have the real deal in the big girl.

YES THE BRADFORD - GLEASON GAMES WERE GREAT.

Union has been after Street for 2 or 3 years now. She is a solid player. She never seems to get tired. I am pretty sure Union is going to be her choice. Union may need to test the waters at DII before thinking about D1. I am pretty sure things are going to be a little different than the NAIA. I have been a Union fan for a long time with all the Bradford girls going there. But I heard they get less scholarships to work with in DII. Then again a major D1 school may offer her a track scholarship and she take it. She realy likes playing ball which will keep her around here. Just my thought.

Union has been after her. If I was to make a guess I would say Union is the front runner. But she is one of the best track runners in the state. She should have some big time schools after her for track. But I know she wants to play b-ball. The word is Union is moving up to div. 2 NCAA next year 2012/13. So they will not have the number of scholarships as in the NAIA. I can't see her going to Bethel, but you never know.

If it was the game about 3 or 4 years ago. Bradford finished the game with 4 players. The freshman street had a team high 17. Coach P did a great job. Walsmith, Erica, Combs, and I think tubbs all fouled out. Not sure about Tubbs though.

Not saying the list is good or bad, but this list is a list of players he feels is ready for the next level. Some players will get missed. But the stats of the kid in high school may not reflect the ability of the kid at the next level. Some good post players may not get a chance to shine in high school. Some guards may also be in the same boat. At times in high school some kids like to take to many shots that causes others to miss out on a chance to shine. At the end of the day this is a list for college.

He will be missed.

STREET FROM BRADFORD IS A STRONG PLAYER. I WOULD THINK SHE WILL END UP AT UNION. I HEARD UNION WAS MOVING UP IN A YEAR OR TWO.

CONGRATS TO COMBS FROM BRADFORD. SAW IN TRENTON PAPER SHE WILL BE WITH CHRISTIAN BROTHERS NEXT YEAR. GOOD LUCK.

BRADFORD MAY BE A BETTER TEAM NEXT YEAR. BRADFORD LOST COMBS AND BRATTON, BUT STREET AND SEVERAL YOUNGER PLAYERS DID WELL THIS YEAR. THIS YEAR THEY JUST NEVER PUT IT TOGETHER (THE BIG THREE). IT WAS ALWAYS ONE OF THEM WERE HOT. STREET ONE NIGHT, COMBS ONE NIGHT, OR BRATTON ONE NIGHT. STREET WILL HAVE TO CARRY THE LOAD NEXT YEAR. BUT I SAW SEVERAL GIRLS HAVE GOOD NIGHTS THIS YEAR. BUT ALL ROADS LEAD TO LAKE CO.FOR THE GIRLS IN 14A.

GOT TO GO WITH BIGSTER. LAKE CO SHOULD BE IN THE MIX. ANYTHING BUT A GOLD BALL WILL BE A LET DOWN FOR THIS CREW.
