Goose, you are the ideal high school football student athlete and that is something to be proud of. McMinn and Ooltewah both lost close to 30 seniors last year. Any program would like to move on....but I would bet that both these 2 coaching staffs saw 'this 'year coming. Both these schools will be competing for the title next year

hey dork face cleveland boy, the fact that ooltewah started to get transfers around the same time Benny took the job had nothing to do with 1 another. ooltewah hs started taking in students from other county schools due to NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND. ooltewah hs then became overcrowded....hence....East Hamilton. anyone with the ability to read a newspaper would know that. now...to Cleveland football...won this year's weakest district in state...and lost to every non district team except McMinn Central. cleveland 2010 playoffs = 1 and out

My top 5 in state of Tennessee if all schools (public and private)were thrown into a tournament. 1. Oakland 2. Alcoa 3. Maryville 4. Dob Bennett 5. Riverdale ( other small schools- Signal Mountain is pretty good)

Cleveland just won District 5 there are 6 6A teams and 2 5A teams cleveland won district out right. Shouldn't they be a least a #2 seed in 1 of the quadrants??? help me here

All year after finally seeing every team in Dist 5 (5a/6a) Soddy was best...attacking d, offense ran plays 'good for them' team to beat???? lost qb for a few games no worries right?...beat Rhea Co and set up Home game showdown to beat Cleveland for the District crown..................... ..................but.................... Team lost focus during Rhea Co week worrying about protesting a law...This law is the first Amendment in our Bill of Rights...public and religion CAN'T mix well, last time i checked, soddy was a PUBLIC funded school so...Soddy Daisy High School's naive and red neck reaction to this Public Prayer issue cost their hard working young men a football District 5 6A title. worry about the Xs and Os...not about including your football club in Political Drama!!!!!

*for once, I agree with Indian if there is a mid season ???? question of a kid's eligibility...that is Cleveland Football Staff's problem along with A.D.-----everyone from Soddy to North Bradley know that Clev Back lives in both homes...Clev and Soddy... A Cleveland Football program should never have to 'bend' an eligibility rule for any great player. .... why???.... These athletes are walking the halls of all Clev city schools from preK to a Senior. Cleveland has never found a coach to work the community like Monroe did. If I was KK Slaughter, I would be Coach Monroe's best friend and just absorb info about how HE made Cleveland The Program.
