No idea, I'm guessing that the fact there will be so many people there. There's not only the Lift-A-Thon, there's a boys soccer game, and softball tournament. Who knows they may haven't made the head coaching decision yet, or it could be just because so many people from the adminstration and county will be there.

I think dekalb finshes first in the distric and second going to Cannon, Third to Macon, Fourth going to upperman, fifth to Livinston, sixth to smith and last to york. Dekalb better watch there backs, Cannon could slip up and end up first and same said for Macon to sneak up on Cannon.

My direct sources are the AD, Tim Know and the man closest to the program, Griswold. I recently spoke with him and he said he knows a couple of people that have been interviewed and that many of them he wasn't presented the chance to speak with him. He also said the guy from Clarksville Northwest was interviewd and he had the chance to speak with him. Griswold said that when he was talking to him, it just seemed like he knew football. He knew what he was talking about, just someone who you wanted to be around. He knew he had a plan and Griswold said he he was turned over as head coach, cannon couny could be very succesful under him

Any thoughts or opinions? I know it's been a mistake for Cannon County to fire coach bartsch so late, but is it a even bigger misake to wait to this certain date to announce it there?

I know exactly what i'm talking about, and patriot is that suppoused to offend me? Honestly it doesn't, it's hilarious. But I'll let you know what does offend me. You getting on this board and bashing everone who doesn't agree with you and putting a negative impact on Cannon county football. We're baseically in a rebuilding process and it doesn't hep when you have someone consantly smashing the teams dignity. That offends me and i'm sure everyone around the program! And for dekalb, Potete is a very very talented player but he can be stopped. No offense to melvin, in any way becasue he's a very talented player also but Everyone said you couldn't stop him his junior year, guess what his senior year he got stopped. And it's gunna happen this year. I give potete all the credit he gained but Cannon county made himlook 100x better than he really is. And I have nomore comments about the spread offense

You are correct bigpun, Ruehlen, Davenport, Nave, Mitchell, and Jones. All sophomore and all very very good. With Woodin being, it's looking very bright. Well talk to the principle, Kim parsley or the AD Tim Knox. I think you'd fit in very well with the adminstration here in Cannon County. Your ideas could be used greatly. So i advise you to take your own advice and talk to with the principle or AD or even the new coach when he comes around. We could even use you in The football booster club. And I agree, both Rigsby and Dodgen are doing a amazing job with the boys and girls basketball team. And that's good, a very very bright future for cannon county athletics. And as soon as the season comes around, the county will be spliing out with excitement to see the boys play. But how do you feel about a middle school here in Cannon county? Instead of several different elementary schools. That could unite all the athletes for the better. I know it's a different topic but how do you feel about that?

I can already tell that the Cannon-Dekalb game this year will be very intersting. But I assure you when the Freshmen and Sophomres play ya'll as juniors and seniors, they will lay the smack down on dekalb, Espically when the Freshmen are seniors, I'm positive when the Jr. Lions played Dekalb two years ago and beat them by atleast 30. Just a little Theory i came up with. Should be very fun. Couldn't tell much much more than you already know, but i'll get back to you Tiger.
