All I know is the Rebels are 5-1 and after tonight will be 6-1! Yes, the BGA game was a fluke. If the extra point is made then we are 6-0 right now. I am stroking nothing Mr. bleel. Franklin will not lose to Ravenwood (no fluke) Franklin will not lose to Brentwood (no fluke) Where are all these "1-point" losses you speak of? I see a team full of character that is winning while not playing their best. I feel sorry for the first team that the Rebels play when we put it all together. It will get ugly on them quick. BGA loss was a fluke. Do not give credit anywhere else. One big play and a missed extra point. Other than that the REBELS dominated that game. If our backs would have been there the score would have been 27-7 at least. Enough said about those guys.

WE ARE FRANKLIN I guess we will have to wait and see, but I believe you will be glad to stand behind this team come the end of the season. Would you rather be the worst 5-1 team or the best 1-5 team??

Ok, since you throw out some facts the way you see it then let me throw out the real facts. Defense 53 points scored against the Rebels so far. Well one was scored on our offense with a fumble picked up and another was scored on our third string. So that is 40 Big points scored on this not so good defense. In the Centennial game we missed some tackles and let them get a few big plays. Other than that it has been a DOMINANT Defense. One like I have not seen around here for a while. Ok, so back to some facts Mr. Pylon: That is less than 7 points a game this defense is giving up!! Oh, and yes they have had a shut out 45-0 to Hopkinsville. So, before you spout off make sure you got your facts straight. Offense All I have been saying is we are getting better each week. yes we still drop too many balls but the Run game is getting better. Big Lane has rushed for over 100yds in the past two ball games. Is this not improvement? My only complaint is the front line blocking. If they would pick up the blitzes then Matt would be getting better passing stats also. He has looked bad because of bad blocking on stunts up front. So with all this said, I still say as ugly as the games have been (and I might add that they are ugly because our DEFENSE also makes it ugly on the other guys), we are getting better and it will show come the end vs. Brentwood. Other than Brentwood, who could beat us? No one!! The Rebels are Rolling and I will continue to say so! See you tomorrow night and GO REBELS!

The offense is doing just fine. We just need to be more consistent in our blocking up front so Matt is not pressured when he is throwing the ball. We have receivers open, but it is hard to see them when we don't pick up the LB's on blitzes. I feel like that is why we have had the extra interceptions recently. But those will go away this week vs. Ravenwood and The Rebels will continue to roll. 6-1 is coming. Pretty good prediction of the score there Answer. I said one very close to that. GO REBELS!

As always? Not so fast my friend! With the way our Rebels are playing D then you will have a hard time scoring and as our offense gets better each game I'd say the Rebels will do just fine vs. your Bruins. We will get to that game when it is time. Right now us Rebels just keep on winning.

Oh, Yes!! We all can't wait for week 10. It will be the Rebels and the Bruins once again battling for the district title. Who does Brentwood play leading up to the Rebels? The Rebels are beginning to roll. We will take care of business by beating Ravenwood, Fairley, and Independence and then we will start talking about those Bruins. Until, then we are going to continue to get better each week and win one game at a time.

Glad to see a post this week. I started dto start one last week but figured the people from Fern Creek would not be on here. Anyways, ANOTHER big win for the Rebels. The Rebels are one point from being undefeated and they will reamain that way again this week. (Man, I'd love to play that darn BGA game again!) Anyways, back to this game. As long as we quit turning the ball over the Rebels should once again get a two touchdown district win. I don't see Ravenwood staying close in this one. You sure about that? I've seen some quotes on here where you said somethings that I would have to say you were not on board with the Rebel Players. No worries though. Just as our Rebels will have NO worries tomorrow night. We need a good crowd to show up and be loud. Our boys seem to get after the offense more when the crowd is getting into the game. I look for a first quarter romp of the burros and then the Rebels never look back. As I already stated 38-12 is my prediction!

I only showed up here since that guy was calling out our team and saying we had no discipline! I back the REBELS! Why do you call me out all the time Hogan? What's your deal? I just know that our game with Centennial in no way shows how good we will be come the end of the season. It was their Super Bowl and yes they once again LOST!!! The Rebel offense is much better now then the first game of the season. That is why we only scored six points in the first game. I never called our offense great (as you refer to) but I do say we are getting better every week. That is done by good coaching and players responding. I hope we do call an onsides kick this week. It puts pressure on our defense if we don't get it and as we have shown we can handle it! No Cougar has ever put a "sleeper hold" on any REBEL!

Name names of players that we have taken from Centennial. I bet you can't do it. Quit making false remarks.

Hey, 2 brainless! FHS vs. CHS is a rivalry game. It is Centennial's super bowl (which they have NEVER won) so that is why it was a close game. I am one that sees our defense as better than it was last year under your great one. Ask BGA how the defense is doing over there (uh 33 points last week --check the score yourself) If I were you, then I would check this post in about six weeks from now and you may have to eat your words saying Franklin is not a contender! I do agree with you that Smyrna rolls over Centennial. I have seen both teams play. (FHS scrimmaged Smyrna) so I know which is better. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FHS AND DEFENSE. Centennial is just not as good as Smyrna.

Looking forward to Friday night. Should be a great game and a big hurdle for us Rebels. Rebels look for revenge as we went to Chattanooga last year and took it on the chin. I look for the Rebels to be ready to go defensively this year and we will continue to get better around Matt on the offensive side of the ball. Kicking game was huge last week vs Centennial so the Rebels look to be getting everything on track for our run. I say Rebels 24 Owls 10 .

I don't know, we might. I don't get to call the plays, I only get to watch and cheer. I will agree with you on one thing though, The REBELS will be up by at least that score sometime in the game. The boys tell me that Centennial is not very good. I also, saw them with my own eyes as they struggled to beat a Antioch team that these REBELS destroyed. I stick to my prediction 48 - 6. We don't need an onside kick to destroy the cougars so stick to wrestling Hogan.

After watching the Rebels rebound on Saturday and I went and watched Centennial on Friday night, I couldn't agree with you more. 48-6 Who was it that said Centennial would contend for second place in our district? This one is over before it starts! Rebels continue to get better this week and go to 2-1.

Credit was given where it was due! Your offense could not move the ball all night and Dedrick was a part of that reason. I don't care how many tackles you say someone had if we don't drop the ball so much this game is not even close. (Besides I really doubt anyone was really in on 17 tackles) Let's move on to the Rebels next game! Before I leave this and go on, I do have to say one thing. I bet the BGA coaches are thanking their stars that so many balls were dropped by Franklin WR's. The final would have been something like 27 - 7 Rebels instead of the final that it was. Enough about this game. Still makes me sick!

Well I guess I must admit that the running game was down without Dye or Miller. There was not too many holes to run through anyways. We got to get better blocking. Matt was great at QB and he hit David (TE) and Riley(WR) with several passes. We had way too many dropped balls. If we catch the dropped balls then look out, the game would have been a whole different story. The Rebel D played great except for one play. All in all it was a good football game. One thing to think about. The late hit out of bounds was the worst call ever and then the flag on our sideline for responding to such a TERRIBLE call. Those yards all hurt us in the end. Keep working Rebels. On to game two. The Rebels will be just fine.

on what grounds do you think this? FHS is still better than BGA even without Dye. People need to quit reading this stuff and put down the paper and understand that the Rebels will be there in the end. I still say this game will not be as close as it was last year!

They did, but we have a very good one playing there now also. David Page. He is 6'3" and can block but his strong point is his catching ability. He goes along with the returning linemen and that is why I say the run game will be fine
