1. Sequatchie County was lucky to get out of Chattanooga with the win. CCS's Hundley pitched an exceptional game with 15 K's. Hundley will be tough to beat if she gets any run support. Sequatchie County kept fighting off tough pitches and eventually won the game on a walk and a throwing error. Great pitching performance and defense by both teams. 2B Carlton (SC) stopped several hard hit balls and kept the Indians in the game.
2. Lady Aces-Whos that, since they lost the Gore girl as there Ace,didnt know they still existed! Are you freakin kidding me? It's bait! Don't bite.
3. Sequatchie County came from behind to beat a very tough Elizabethton team. Meigs County jumped out early on Sequatchie, but the Indians managed to fight their way back and defeat the Lady Tigers. In the Championship game, Sequatchie put 6 early runs on the board and then had to hold on to defeat a hot Midway team 12-5. RHP Courtney Dawson pitched all three tournament games and had just enough to beat Midway. The Indians hit well all day, especially when they had to.
4. I am sure Central will have something to say about that but the rest of 6AA is looking a little weak. Central would be my pick in that District. Willard will be tough to handle if she gets any offense at all.
5. Marion Couty looked good this weekend. The competition may have been young and inexperienced, but Marion did what good teams do, they knocked the snot out of the ball! Marion is set for a great year.
6. WOW! Those are some impressive times, they should run track too!
7. Marion County will get stronger with the addition of Brooke Baxter and Cassie Pickett. Ooltewah's Kelsey Chernak is a outstanding catcher, with a great bat and good speed.
8. Then go back to your ED board.
9. Sydney Hooper, Walker Valley. She's an absolute beast at the plate. She hits for a high average and has a ton of power. She will make a good Walker Valley team that much more difficult to deal with.
10. I agree, the Cruisers will be a tough team to deal with. Although, I do have one question: Which tournament are you speaking of? They beat the Lady Aces at the scenic city 16's in Chattanooga and the Chattanooga Force at the Murfreesboro Exposure 3-1. Thank you for that clarification. Orangeandwhite had me confused. I didn't think the Cruisers beat all three in the same tournament, i know because i was at both tournaments mentioned. With that being said, the Cruisers looked like they had a solid team in Murfreesboro. I noticed several new players on the field. As far as a top 5 in 16U, my opinion is that any team already mentioned is capable of occupying a spot in the top 5 on any given weekend. There are just too many factors involved this far out from the first qualifyer. A twisted knee here or a sore shoulder there and your once hopeful season is shot to crap! Let's all pray everyone comes out of school ball ok. I think its going to be a very competitive summer in 16U.

12. I bet a lot of coaches like Nunley. She is tough to handle and a great competitor.
13.

. Listen JackA$$ you said you thought she was a good and up and coming pitcher and that is your oppinion. My take is that she is an over rated pitcher. you have your oppinion and I have mine so get off your soap box you morron!!! It's spelled MORON, not MORRON! If you're going to take the time to insult me, at least get the spelling correct. So, since you have an opinion, tell us who you believe is worthy of being listed in this discussion........
14. In reference to up and coming pitchers, I will throw out two: 1. Sydney Hooper, Freshman., Walker Valley 2. Lydia Ritchie, Freshman., Bledsoe County 3rdbasecoach how can you say that this ritchie girl is one of the best in the state I have seen her pitch in some summer ball tourn. she is at best average she is good when she goes against a below average team like her coach puts her up against But when she starts to play at the High School level she will get rocked when she starts going against 16,17 and 18 year old girls I have news for her coach back your defense up to the fences so they can get a better look at the ball as it goes over the fence Hey Dumba$$, why don't you try reading the entire thread before spouting off. You may not be fond of her coach, but thats your problem. The Ritchie girl has a lot of potential and thats what this thread was asking for. As most know, I have no love for Bledsoe. With that said, I see a very talented pitcher who is only gong to get better. I'm willing to say she will be one of the best softball player Bledsoe will produce. Take your hatred and stupidity back to the Bledsoe thread and you can worship past coaches there. I know you have a short attention span, try reading the entire article over a two day period as to not overload your brain.

16. Other Team's Plan B: Find the players you need to get to Nationals next year! Also, you might want to find a couple of high-end exposure tournament to put your girls in. Maybe play up in 16's. Great competition and good early experience for your girls.
17. I agree, its way too early to make a prediction like this. A lot of things can happen between now and the 1st qualifier, i.e. new additions, injuries to key players.......etc. Just Curious, who has been the biggest benefactor of all this reshuffling in Middle TN. and who folded?
18. You are "Surely" right? I could mention more teams from middle & west Tn. But not in the "TOP" as you requested. I gave you who appears to have the strongest returning teams in this age group for next summer. You asked for folks top five picks.... I gave you 7, 2 of which are from middle or west Tn. Now I can say if had stopped at 5 as you had requested those 2 teams would still be on my list of "TOP" picks. what 2 teams would you exclude to get it to five. And if you dont care and have time, give your reasons why they are your top 5.I am not baiting you or anyone else,I'm would like to know. Thanks! Tballexpert The worms on the hook! Who's going to bite?
19. It's true, I have plotted for years and finally all my hard work is paying off! With this mission accomplished, I can now turn my attention to destroying the Van Buren County 4-H club. They have dominated the calf-judging competition for too long!
20. It doesn't sound like its for fun anymore.
21. Silver Eagles? There's a lot of confidence coming out of Roane County these days. I have to say I like their spunk.
22. You're not stepping on anyone's toes. Thats a question many of us would like to have answered and would like to see changed to the fall.
23. I can see the headlines in the Bledsonian next week, "MASS CONSPIRACY - SEQ. CO. RESIDENT GETS PIKEVILLE COACH FIRED!!!!!!!" No one outside of Brockdale cares who the coach of Bledsoe County is and by the way, I also had a hand in creating the bypass around Pikeville, the Kennedy assasination and war in Iraq! You dope, the coaching change doesnt benefit Sequatchie County at all, I should be up there protesting Greta's firing! I hope Bledsoe has a great season, as long as we beat them. We all benefit when there is good competition in the Valley. As far as not commenting, you're in a public forum. If you want folks to stay out of your business, string two tin cans together and stretch them across the living room to your mama and you guys can talk privately. As far as I am concern you are a dope. (P. S.) from Sequatchie County had a hand in getting Bledsoe County Softball Coach fired. Ok 3rdbasecoach I will stretch a string of two tin cans across the county line to you and we will have a private talk. Just let me know when! You're right! You've figured it out! The people of Sequatchie County have been plotting for years to destroy the softball dynasty at Bledsoe County. We meet in the basement of the courthouse every Sunday night, so if you would like to attend you should come on down. We are currently in the process of conspiring to get the Pillsbury Doughboy fired! BTW, I've spoken with you before and you're not in any shape to have a private talk with anyone! (look, I've got a motorcycle too!)
24. I think Coach Ritchie will do a great job. He has the knowledge and experience to get Bledsoe County over the hump and into contention for a serious tournament run. Greta did a great job, I just think it was time for a change in Pikeville. Good luck to both Greta and Coach Ritchie. 3rdbasecoach: You need to keep your comments to yourself and stay out of Bledsoe County business. I believe you are from Dunlap so take care of your own sports down there. I believe you had a hand in Coach VanWinkle getting fired. I can see the headlines in the Bledsonian next week, "MASS CONSPIRACY - SEQ. CO. RESIDENT GETS PIKEVILLE COACH FIRED!!!!!!!"
