No ,lets tackle all the messes associated with this website.I'm not so sure that they are unrelated.There seems to be some brief/sometimes extended" freezing up" when the Main screen is brought up...as the TRIBALFUSION virus is also trying to load.

Here in Jefferson County we have no or few options.There are no private schools to choose from .We have only one high school .Webb and Catholic has been the choice for the few families(mostly doctors kids) that are willing or able to afford the long commutes to knoxville .As a result of JC's monopoly on the educational opportunities > our elected officials and administration have done nothing for our students in over 30 years.No schools have been built,almost nothing has been repaired,the buildings are falling apart,lead paint,roofs leaking,mold everywhere,canopies crashing down,air conditioning inoperable,bathroom stalls without doors for privacy.There is not one school here that shouldn't be tore down and replaced.it's a neverending comedy of incompetence/arrogance/and likely criminal activity.Generations of officials have lied to our citizens for decades.We have allowed them to raise taxes,they have instituted some on there own,Impact fees,raises in county sales taxes.a tax on our county auto tags.We even got a huge amount of stimulus money( million dollars)!All to no avail.Projects get voted on then voted out .Architects are becoming millionares drawing up plans then revising them ,then the plans end up lost.Our community ges mad and votes out afew of them ,but then replaces them with people just like them. And another year passes.For some reason we continue to elect decent hardworking/ respected /church going/long time citizens "from here" and they lose their minds once in office.I pray that someday the State Attorney or some other State or Federal authority will someday come to Jefferson County and investigate these matters and prosecute the guilty.But I have little confidence that this will happen.Afterall it makes more sense for the authorities to chase after "#### fighting,cocaine,prostitution,chop shops,meth labs ect" and other exciting crimes! Evidently the children of our community are not worth helping,and our officials' crimes are not worth investigating.In conclusion I am not blaming teachers or coaches...they are doing there best ! If I Had it to do over again I would not live here. P.S. Yet another school superintendant has left office....I guess she didn't think jail was worth it and refused to "PLAY BALL"

The coaches are respected.If they were not the players would quit.We have seen this in the not to distant past.

Here we go ...Don't win a State Championship...So the Head Coach must GO !! Right ? Is that the answer ? Is that really what we need ? I too have talked to many of the players >I have not heard anything from anybody that makes me question the coaches' honesty/integrety. I am convinced that the coaching staff worked the butts off to make this a winning season.As far as anything the coaches have said to me,It's only been" hi" and "how are you".They get paid for what they do.I get paid for what I do.I will not tell them how to do their job and NOBODY will come to my job and tell me how to do it.Further I am appalled and disgusted by any suggestion that these young men played without heart.This characterization of our student body is without merit !There are several players that waited till the end of the season to have surgeries and other medical treatments.This is called "playing with pain and playing thru the pain".This is again another example of former players/current parents or other "well meaning "members of the community that believe that if only the coach would listen to them then we would be the best team in the state.NO ..NO..NO ..this is not going to happen.These men have college degrees/have played college ball/and have forgoton more than you learned watching ESPN..Having BASIC CABLE does not make you coaching material.!!Sadly once again I have to go on this message board and point out to other readers that these few Haters dont represent the community as a whole.Every year we "the TRUE FANS" have to sit and listen to/and read what these idiots think!There opinions are full of hate and venom..much like their life.Let's see....MMMM what kind of person would go onto a message board (that they know the kids are gonna read} and then say alot of horrible negative things about 15 to 17 year olds??My first guess is a grown man who's dreams were never realized,,someone who's daddy told them they were a superstar,Who's daddy bought them the best equiptment...took them to the best camps,someone who was told they were cheated by a coach when they didn't start or get the position they wanted,.Someone who has alot of anger ...who carries this anger around all day and inflicts on others..Wake up!! You are wrong!! You have lost the meaning of sports!!Your sickness ,unfortunately,is contagious..But I have a suggestion....Stop living in the PAST.Accept that you/or yours were not a great athlete.Accept that educated men know more than you .Accept that there are going to be" up " years and " down " years.Get behind the team.Support the team.See what you can do to help the team{except coaching}.Be positive about the team.Say positive things about the team and this season.!.Get some medication for your depression! Ask yourself ..What good did I acomplish by trashing the coaches and the players ???Or maybe,,just maybe this isn't worth fighting about.Maybe you'r tired and need a rest..Maybe you just want to rest forever..Maybe you see a way out but are too afraid to DO IT.Go ahead DO IT..Your right.. we won't miss you.We will be better off without you.No one likes you.No one thinks your worth keeping around.NO one will be sorry to see you go!

Jefferson county went 5 an 5 overall... and 5 and 2 in the conferance(3rd place) and were not even close to a wildcard.Our conferance has( 2) 6a teams and(5) 5a teams..I'm not saying we should be in the playoffs but 2 things ..Other 5 and 5 teams got in(Catholic)and we had a 4 and 6 team get in (Seymour).Clearly 5 and 5 is not a winning season and to me that means you shouldn't go to the playoffs, nor should anyone with a losing season.Just my 2 cents.

Great win Patriots !! Coaches played alot of guys and it only allowed South Doyle to score 14. Trojan fans i have No problem with you guys going to and hopefully doing well in the playoffs.Good luck! I Know it's mostly just alot of fun poking jabs at each other.You guys deserve to go to the postseason.Your first outa the 5a group and second overall in IMAC.Thats pretty impressive.You beat US {JCHS} when you didn't even have to.Remember... you guys won 10 to 3 in the mud .If we would have won --we would have been second in IMAC and would have had a playoff spot along with you.But that was not to be.For us going 5 and 5 is an improvement over last year and it's Not a losing season.3rd place in the new conference is a place many others would like to be.Not going 0 for 2 in M-town is also a positive.We are junior heavy this year and if we do the work(outs) we'll get what's comming to us next year.My biggest problem is with some of our own FANS ! They can be angry and disruptive and counterproductive to the team.It's sad really.But I know that it's not personal against the players and coaches.It must be some kind of PATHETIC attempt at some much needed attention.Mommy please hug your li'l boy and tell him he is special! Jefferson County Patriots win!!! even when faced with a determined stripped opponent. I haven't been this angry about a win since the Science Hill freshman game 2 years ago!!Good luck to ME the rest of the year .Our fans were/are praying hard for T Howell to be ok .He clearly is the best player in IMAC !Both teams played hard and fair.Btw the ME player that jerked off his pads and helmet on the field should have some sort of punishment. Oh, to the commets about JV and freshman's families behavoir::: I'ts too sad/bad.But did you know that most of them should be playing Varsity and one of them runs a 4.2 40 yard dash....his grandad said so !!! It must be true.Seriously though ,,If you take our varsity starters and play them on JV it would be clearly unfair.The strength ,size and speed is on another level.Please Cheer for the team!! Again its a problem with oversight.There is no opportunity for refs to be graded . A system of education with penalties and rewards would be most benificial.For instance a really great group of officials get to work in the post-season. Lesser gifted/talented refs are given further education and the bottom of the barrel are weeded out and replaced.This type of professionalism is whats required and what should be expected!Let's bring this to another level.perhaps someone with college or NFL experience could get this started.

Thanks counteroption! You are a class act. Well folks, not to state the obvious, but that was a tough loss. After watching the game a couple of times via the DVR, I have concluded we need to get much stronger in the off season AND we are not working out enough during the season.. SEVERAL times our offensive linemen were being tossed around like rag dolls. I know our conditioning is there as far as cardio goes, but when you are a “power” veer running team, your O-line has to be stronger than it is now. IMHO, we need to hire a strength coach who has a nutritionist background to give good direction to the team. The D and Special teams were VERY good. EKirkpatrick did an MVP job on both. Great to see all of the players flying to the ball and wrapping up. Having Thomas Cook and Eric Kane at linebacker is fun to watch. Brad Mason is a Beast. The block he threw to spring McFall after Mo-West scored the TD was a thing of beauty. I think McFall would have had a bigger gain on the kickoff return, but it looked like he lost his footing when he neared the 30. I give two thumbs way up for the rotation of the D-line. They never looked gassed. Considering the final score was the same as the score with 5 minutes left in the 1st half, D and Special teams rocked. As far a playing conditions go, rain is rain and mud is mud. Both teams are running teams and it is VERY hard to cut or even push off for any speed in the open field when you are running in near liquefied sand. The TD Mo-West scored was a well executed play. One of our linebackers went too deep inside and #7 ran toward daylight and 62 yards later the score was 7-3. Great play by a good player. More than likely it will rain next Friday too, so wet ball drill this week is a must. Mo-East won tonight and will be looking to make us 0 for Mo-town next Friday. The team has to put this game in the past and focus on ball security and beating Mo-East. Keep your heads up Patriots. Never quit, Never surrender! GO PATRIOTS!!! More Cowbell is coming!!!! It seems to me that a massive defensive 3 man front -gives our boys all they can handle.In all fairness to JCHS we are very young.Last year we started 12 senoirs and outa those we sent 8 to spring practices at colleges around the state.This year we start a little more than 4 and only 1 or 2 of those has a shot at college ball.Again last year- we won 3 games.This year we have 2 more games to beat that record.Again in all fairness MW won the game.no one stole it.The refs didnt alter the outcome and the "terrible t's",or the field conditions were not a factor.A senoir MW player was given player of the game for his 1(one) Great offensive play,but hey that was one more than us.As far as the Veer goes -it is a good offense ! Maryville runs it on occaision!..Conditioning and strength have had the most to do with our losses.Coaches cannot be held completely responsible for how much a player trains.TSSAA has rules that the staff are going to follow.It's just a cold hard fact that just because someone is good enough to take and keep a starting position at JC does not mean that they are the best at their position in the State/region or IMAC.This should(by now) be obvious to anyone out there in the trenches..Men we must put together an off- season effort like no other.I know it's hard as there are many distractions.I too have heard the cursing and negative talk in the stands and on the field after game.But you have got to consider the source and put it all in perspective.You have got to realize that these fans(families?) did actually see (but not play in)most of those games in that Championship season so long ago.I guess that kinda makes them ENTITLED to hurl their filth at the JCHS PATRIOTS. I mean afterall their dreams/sports aspirations/education/finances/health are all shot- So why not project their failures onto their favorite team.Certainly it's alot cheaper than going to knoxville and hate on the VOLS! ...6 bucks and just a few miles away ! Coach Anderson IS an honorable man. all of them are.If he said your starting ..then you start.Many people believe that direct intimidation will get their kid on the field..Not on Varsity it won't. If anyone believes that they were lied to then they need to schedule a meeting with this man and any other staff that they desire,I'm sure the (AD) and the principal would like to hear about your complaints.This could be handled in a civil manner , like men and not like cowards on a Blog...Further ; rants on specific" teenage" players to further your own selfish goals is pathetic..!!!Please stop !
