  1. I think it will be like this Elizabethton 22 Volunteer 21 Chucky Doake 26 Unaka 6 Cloudland 42 Hayseville 12 Volunteer is much improved from what I've heard and Elizabethton is not the same team from a year ago. Unaka is very undisiplined and has nobody besides the QB. Cloudland is much improved as well and seem to be back to smash mouth football, don't know much about Hayesville but I don't see Turbyfill scheduleing someone they couldn't beat up on.
  2. This was probably the best Hampton team ever IMO. Thought Hampton was probably the second best team in the state behind South Pitt that year Robert Robinson was a beast for the 07 pirates.
  3. Did anyone see the 2007 Semi-Final game against Hampton?
  4. "The Trousdale team of 05 washed the floor with everybody that year, and could have beat the 07 Hampton team as well." Hampton in 05 was the resurrection year for Hampton football, That year they set the new standard for "Bulldog Football". The way I see it is 06 and 07 just continued the winning way and tradition laid down in golden slabs of greatness in which the 2005 Hampton Bulldogs was to Hampton, Tn., Carter County and the rest of east Tn that year. A team that on a average season was barely .500 and how a group of seniors and juniors put in the "Hard Work" and became men. I was a senior on that 2005 team and my team and I gave it all on the field every time we stepped out out of the field house. And just as sure as Hampton is the house that J.C. Campbell built, I believe greatness comes from some where, like a diamond that starts as a stone. The town of Hampton until the day I die will always be apart of me... GO DOGS, GOD BLESS. - UserName Aka PFC Price. The 05 team didn't even beat Johnson County.....The o7 team has the record for the most wins in school history that would be 13-1 where the 05 team had a 12-2 record.....The 05 team had a lot of sophomore's playing on it so by the time they were senior (2007) they were much better......The resurrection of Hampton Football was the day Mike Lunsford came back into town.
  5. They have alot to prove to be in the same clas as the 2007 team. Anyone who could stay on the field with SP that yeat was pretty good. This team has some potential, but I'd have to see several game to determine if they are a great team or just an average team. In my opinion ,if the line does well, this will be a pretty good bunch, they should be good every where else. The 2005 team could have beat SP if they could have played then in 07. Not a chance the 05 team could beat the 07 team. Hampton 07 team is one of the best the area has every seen. Even coach Lunsford considers the 07 Hampton team one of the best he has been a part of. The Trousdale team of 05 washed the floor with the 05 team.
  6. Im with Pujo, We are gonna be here waiting for anything yall can dish out. Hampton has and will continue to dominate teams in your region. Get ol 25 to knock heads with our FB lol bad news for Inman if this happens!!!!!!!!!! Im bout to get fired up!!! Come and Get you some!!!!!!!! Go Dogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Agree 100% Irick and Jaynes were tough as nails! Irick was better than Taylor Edwards is however Edwards is a sophomore, and I think I might have to take Price over Jaynes. Price is a dynamic runner if he can just keep his mouth shut and just play ball. I got ta checkin on some things and I think the 2007 dogs were much more EXPLOSIVE than the 2009 dogs.
  8. We don't have ligts on our practice field nor do we have names on the back of our jersey's either. But when yall leave carter county you will have the inprint of that big blue H stained on those white jerseys to remeber the butt kicking you took!!!!!!!!!!!! Whoooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! Go Dogs!!!!!!!!!!!11
  9. Well since there is nobody who can make a definate answer lets compare positions. How woul the 2007 player compare to who plays there position in 2009.
  10. The 2009 team does seem to have better deapth, but I think the 2007 team could do more things. Would have liked to see lil mike playing with the 2009 team.
  11. Just a comparison thing. Who is everyones pick and thoughts about the two teams from Hampton. If the two teams were to play a game who would win?
  12. I agree with you about Dylan Ward if he plays Wide Receiver. In my opinion though he will be playing QB and let Price play some WR/RB. It's gonna be a ride can't wait to get strapped in for the show.
  13. This year will be a down year as far as playmakers go, although I believe Hampton has gotten some boys out that could really help. I think Price, Adam Taylor, and Jacob Jones will make most of the bigtime plays, while Taylor Edwards dishes out punishment between the tackles.
  14. Ok, So lets talk about the team. Our obvious strong point is going to be the big boys up front. and our weaker parts are going to be at the skill positions. I look for ward to seeing this years spring practice. A lot of questions will be answered when Monday rolls around. Don't be surprised if we see some changes on the field this year. I'm not talking about the coaches (although that may happen too) but more about position changes.
  15. Tunesquad, needs to just stay off the threads. He seems like he knows a lot about football and about Hampton, but coaches or players either should be on coacht. Coaches need to coach and players need to play. Let the fans talk about the game while you participate in them. I am just a fan these days, but would give anything to be back in uniform. Make the most of it and don't worry about the fans.
