After the defeat of Cloudland, i truly believe that Boyd Bucannan can win the state. However, they will probably have a remach with the team who beat them last year in CPA. I honestly hope that Boyd can keep it together and win it this year. Good luck from the land of OS. ACCARP

This game will more than likely come down to the defenses. We all know the potency of both of these team's offenses. So, now it comes down to which defense can step it up when needed. Will Alcoa be able to stop the powerful rushing attack that Sweetwater has developed? Will Sweetwater be able to stop both the rushing and the passing game that Alcoa has consistantly gotten better at? We will find out tomorrow... ACCARP

I realize that Tyner, Goodpasture, amd Lipscomb are typically the best in 2a football. However, I am just dumb enough to believe that if a team wants it bad enough they can beat them. Now I know it will be more difficult for some than others, but I still believe that it can be done. ACCARP

I think that Oneida can di it again, but they will have to do a great job of executing on both ffense and defense. I think this time that Greenback will be ready to play so Oneida will have to be on their toes. ACCARP

Not that it matters at a time such as this, but I wander how this will affect the players for OS in the upcoming game? It could only be one of two responses. One-they become fired up and harness that energy for their good. Two-they, similar to Wartburg at this time last year, become depressed and have trouble executing due to their minds being elsewhere. Like I said, Alcoa has a little more talent on paper, but they don't play games on paper. Sweetwater has a lot of experience in these games, especially when you discuss the fact this is the first time these Alcoa sophomores have been in this situation. It still should be a good game and good luck to both. ACCARP

dude, you have some serious anger management issues with OS. Have you ever given any thought to some therapy for this? Repectfully requesting, ACCARP

When I saw South Pitt and Boyd play, I was really impressed with SP's Defense. The only thing that really took them out of the game was poor special teams, turnovers, and a sputtering offense. It seems now though that most of these problems have been worked out. I say thatr SP will win this one by about 20 points. Good luck to both. ACCARP

This should be a very good matchup. Both of these teams have a lot of talent and now experience. I think Alcoa has a lot of talent, and on paper, more than Sweetwater. However, Sweewater has been in this position before so they are probably a little more relaxed than Alcoa. It should be a great matchup since both of these teams have improved since they played last. I would love to be there to watch, but obligation keeps me in the land of OS. Good luck to both. ACCARP

I could be wrong, but I see Midway pulling this one out over CAK. I realize that CAK just beat the #1 team in 1A and that is their problem. I see them as riding on Cloud 9. I am not saying they don't have the right to, its just that after a big game with a hard team, its hard to get up for a weaker one. So I say that Midway will win by about 10 or so. Nothing against CAK, all they can do is prove me wrong. ACCARP

If I heard right today, there was a trajedy in OS. This trajedy could really affect how they play on Friday night. I will not say what happened for my own reasons, but it is very serious. I just hope that everyone that is affected is ok, and also (although irrelevant now) I hope the players can stay focused on the task at hand. You all have my prayers ACCARP

Although AC is playing a little better now, I still think that AE has a bit too much speed/talent to slow down. So, I think the score will be... AE-32 AC-18 ACCARP

The reason OS only had that small amount is because they did most of there damage in the second and third quarter. If they had played ball in the first and fourth quarters, the yardage would have been around 450 and the score would have been around 50. ACCARP

Definitly not AE, but there team more than makes up for it! ACCARP

Don't get me wrong, CAk played a great game against Cloudland last Firday, but state? In one word...NO. In fact, I believe they will lose to midway this friday. this is just my opion. Lets say for sake of arguement that they advance to the 4th round, then what? They will either play South Pitt. or Boyd... not pretty. Then if by some miracle they beat one of those 2, they will probably play CPA. I am seeing no chance there. Like I say, all they can do now is prove me wrong...so... ACCARP

I HOPE that OS is a little better than West Green on the defensive side of the ball. ACCARP
