If RBS had played either one of the 1st two games the way they did tonight, they would have probably won by 20. They did a good job on defense, and when JC got good looks they just were not falling. To do well, JC has to shoot well and they did not do that tonight. Give credit to RBS's D for most of it. Hard to see what goes on when you are in another gym miles away.

It is very serious when you accuse a coach of losing on purpose. I would think it this is the way things are done that JC would have not be District Champs last year because that would put them in an easier bracket in the region. In a game as close as it was, there would have been ample opportunity for that to have happen. Maybe this is just a little of "sour grapes" on your part since your team has not been able to win the big one.

I agree with you for once. It amazes me that you can sit between a fan for team A and a fan for team B and they both will talk about how the refs are killing their team. I believe that the refs call against everyone. Good teams adapt to the way the game is being called. I heard that JC's bus driver and 7a are two of the refs for the championship game.

I would not think that JC expects some one like you to give them any credit. There is one thing for sure, PC has not be able to beat them this season. You can talk all you want about last year. This is a different year and different teams.

Agree. To win in the 2nd season got to be ready every game. Lucky to win on an off night, especially after 1st round. Clarkrange is a better team than most give them credit. They had a lot of problems (injuries) during the regular season. I think if they can handle PC's pressure that they can beat PC.

The difference in the game was JC's defense. Clarkrange did not have an answer for it. They got flusterated when they could not score and it affected their entire game, and JC was able to shoot the ball well. I know that some fans are very inconsiderate of other team's players, but it should not be a reflection on all of their fans. I could point out some fans from Clarkrange that I am sure you would not be proud of their actions. I am sure the vast majority of JC's fans have nothing but the upmost respect for the teams from Clarkrange. I hope the Reed girl is ok and will be able to go next week. She is a tremendous player and a real competitor.

Ok if you think a 29-3 team who has beaten JC 2 times already this year is a peice of cake then you must be crazy...Rematch of last year...gotta love it... I'm sure JC is not looking at it as a piece of cake. Both RBS and JC games were close games. I believe JC had a change for a win with a few seconds to go at RBS. JC has had an answer twice for a team that RBS has not figured out a way to do the same. JC played at a level tonight that they have not played at all season, but it is tournament time. Again as I said earlier, they find ways to win at this time of the year. Not only are the starter picking up their game, but the players coming off of the bench are contibuting.

I agree with several of the previous post that Clarkrange and RBS are the two teams in 7A, but if JC beats Clarkrange, I would not want to play them. It would be the second time that they have done this, and they seem to find ways to win games at this time of the season.

Probably out buying "puke bags".

Maybe go back to using only 2 officials to call the game.

Upset of the week--Clay Co. over RBS

Cannot blame this on TSSAA. District coaches voted to hold the tournament at Upperman. They must not be afarid of Upperman as the fans.

I agree need to get on with the season, but on the the other hand I don't see how you can call their district weak. MC shoots 15 or more FT; JC best player plays about 1 quarter; another good player fouls out with 4 minutes to go; plus playing at home, and you only win by 2. Sounds like you really have a powerhouse, too.

Onnly one can win--Clarkrange. All others are playing for 2nd.

This was not a problem for Auntkim's team last year. They beat the best that 7A had to offer. Everyone may need to keep an eye to the west--Trinity and Gleason. May be their year.
