I would love to clear up the article that was last written in the Daily Times about WB and the coaches that Meadows "opted" to replace. Since I am one of those coaches mentioned, I feel that it is my place to set the record straight. I told Coach Wilhite (around week 7) that I would not return next season. It was very funny to read in the paper that Meadows has "opted" to replace me since the last time I had a conversation with him was after the freshmen beat Sevier County in week one. I opted to not return to WB. Period. SO rather than hide behind a newspaper article I instead have chosen to respond here. I send this message out because I think it is sad that a grown man must hide behind a newspaper reporter rather than explain the truth. I have no agenda and I hope nothing but good things happen for those kids. But I will not allow my name to be slandered any more. My last day on that campus was nothing as has been told to the kids. He signed with a JUCO out of college. One bad man. I think he lived on his own as a senior and had a little girl if I am not mistaken. Glad to see him get a shot at the league.

CobraKurt (or should I say Mangrum), The people at Eagleville have nothing but respect for all the Page coaches and players. You had a chance at Eagleville and you choose to do things that were illegal. Then begged to come back and were told no. Lets keep this friendly. I am sure Eagleville and Page will play one day soon. But Page has nothing to gain by doing that. If they win they were supposed to, but lose and then the crap hits the fan. Coach Palmer and Coach Bone are both classy people.

He played with the Show Boats the same time Reggie White did. He will do a great job. Kids will run through walls for him. He has a great relationship with his players and I promise you they will give him all they have or they won't be around.

What is the word on Gallatin's D-coordinator. I know hisa wife just accepted an assistant basketball job at the u of Alabama so does he plan on moving with her? He is an outstanding DC and a great football coach.

Eagleville is having 2 sessions June 2,3,4 and June 20,21,22. Each session is $450 which includes 3 varsity and 2 jv per day. 2 gyms on the same campus. In my career I have been to 3 schools for camp. 1) Eastern Kentucky: Great practice place, food, and dorms. However, teams from KY can only scrimmage twice. Practicing with another team is considered a scrimmage so it was a waste of time. Price was resonable. 2) Sewanne: Same as above for seervices. However, the dorm was not air conditioned and they forgot to tell us that. We were the only team there but we brought in teams everyday. Very expensive $185 per kid. 3) Webb school in Bell Buckel. Best for the money and great facilities. Cost was $75 per kid. Again, we were the only team there but we brought in people everyday. I like to get waya with the kids but you can also do what we did in High school and that is to camp out in the gym for the week ( we slept on the wrestling mats). Coach took all the car keys and locked the fence to the school. Brought people in everyday and ate in the cafeteria. Only cost the players $25. Just as good I thought.
