I agree........race is wide open this year, especially in AA.

I think that the folks from OC have a legitimate point........Roney is to OC what Butler is to GC. No Butler makes GC 20 Points worse, just like OC is 20 points worse without their leader, Roney. Roney is the most complete player in 13AA in my opinion, she does so much for her team, both on the court and off. I can't wait to see the rematch of these two the 15th, should be a classic.

I agree..........but it seems like that is what the majority of folks want. Just seems like that we would be doing things to help increase participation, but everything done seems like it is going the other way. There won't be AAU in 5 years at this pace.......

The biggest reason to pass them down, I believe was shown this year. TN Wings finish 5th in Nationals after winning state title and Team Pride finish runner up at Nationals after not making the final four in the state tournament. Under the new rules, Team Pride would have been a D2 team I think.......something is wrong with that in my humble opinion. Hopefully I am thinking the right way here, if I'm not, someone please correct me. Thanks.

Suprising that you would make this argument now..........weren't you there and didn't you vote for it? Seemed like I was the only one in the room that voted against it, but I could be mistaken.... I think it is absolutely crazy not to pass the bids down........it is not the job of the few folks that run TN AAU to decide who is good enough and who isn't good enough to go to the Nationals. Don't mean to step on anyone's toes but I don't understand it either. Someone please enlighten me..........

Would like to echo those sentiments........the Pride played a great tournament. The 5th place finish for the Wings represents the best in Club history I believe.
