tyler smith& shay vs Taylor&gardner it was a very good match with smith dominating and taylor taking over. gardner played ok and so did shay.Maplewood had the win but giles pulled it out by 1, but what a game.Also the maplewood matchup with portland was great with gardner dominating and brewer showing us his range and in the end taylor shuts brewer down to zero and gardner dominating the front line with and out break of 3's and drives from taylor to end the game because they through out coach gamble.but good game.

Just to say i think that Maplewood will be the top team in 2003/2004 because you will still have bubba taylor,barry gardner,jamal richardson, and frank wilson to deal with and i dont see a line up with the overall experience and talent.

to add to what i was trying to tell you ryan is a good team but if they had to play all the aaa teams in 12aaa day in and day out i may see a 500 season. yes they were good and always have been but to fight for your life almost every game week in and out i dont see that many titles or even to many state runs but that's just my opponion.

you are so right those games were really great games but one of them left a bad taste in my mouth when they played dirty ball with the cheap shot that ended up with a broken nose witch was caught on film as wrong and a maplewood loss. Everyone cant always win but not to that extent.

yes tyler will be a great player thanks to his father billy smith who was a star also. I have had the priveledge of being around both at college(billy) and tyler growing up a real class act.

then you need to come and watch bubba taylor over at maplewood he and the team are a treat just like the other teams in metro.

I hope you can find a real home to finish the last lap because people might say alot of things about you but in my oppinion i thank god for you, because you have always been a straight shooter as much as you could to all your kids. People might not understand your reasoning but its simple, You play the best players on the team, you get the most out of them and the love that you show them when you dont have to will be valueble in life later on for them so if you really leave i just want to say to coach Gamble and family thank you for everything, you are a wonderful coach and my son told me that if this will be your last year then he wants to dedicate this to you and your son thats passed and present family god is watching over him and you all, the state title.
