  1. I sure hope so, or all the westwood guys might want to transfer again! :justwrestle:
  2. I got a great idea... lets get on coacht and just blast a rebuilding program, choke the life out of them and try to take away any pride they might have in their school! That sounds like a real good time... man where do I sign up... Awesome job to the Raiders, dont blame the guys up the road... they didnt have their cup of coffee this morning! have a great day! :justwrestle:
  3. JHITE7, if we study history alittle bit, we will find that our nation wasnt actually founded on Christian principles... thats not to say that our founding fathers didnt believe in a god; however, the founders of our country were actually agnostic (Thomas Jefferson for example). Now an agnostic ideology is one that admitts that there was a god or gods or a creator, but they dont stick around to watch over us, they just kinda made the world and then left. I just needed to point that out. As far as prayer, the moment of silence is great! My question to those who disagree is this, "What about prayer pleases God the most?" I believe its that we are seeking Him out in a personal relationship. And if a prayer over the loud speaker gets under someones skin, I think the Jesus I know is more concerned with loving that person where they are at, instead of telling them to build a bridge. Another thing is that this whole "America love it or leave it... because we love Jesus thought" is very silly. America is also the biggest producers of porn on the internet... but I dont see anyone showing pride in that! My last beef is this... in America the minority is always heard over the majority. Look at feminism, affirmitive action, gay rights... ok, I'm done being cynical... have a great day
  4. Drunken Frat boy says: Ok, it's time for you to stop being a retarded fool. I'm sorry, but as a member of the International Beta Theta Pi Fraternity, I, and all those that have joined national fraternities, am part of something greater than myself alone or any college athletic program can ever be. True fraternity men are held to high standard of conduct and academic responsibility. I'm sorry, but here at TTU, most of the athletes on campus are wasting tax payers money, and I'm sure it's the same across the state. I'm cracking up! it doesnt get much funnier than this folks! I'm not tring to sterotype you (i'm really not), but give me a break! You were probably drunk when you wrote this... Please dont give me this crap about how Greek life has a higher standard than athletics... your community service projects followed by an all night kegger in no way ranks to the blood, sweat, and tears that are put forth by colliate athletes. And lets not dogg an athlete "who may not be up to your intellect", who is atleast trying to better himself. Bottom line its a shame what going on @ ETSU. As a student there I'm rather ticked that the administration has tried to keep all this under wraps. I'm also alittle worried about the 14% tution increase, especially when the state is only cutting our funding 8%. Its a cruddy situtation all around-- But atleast we still have Fraternities... and that makes me happy! [Edited by joemontanaismyhero57 on 5-1-03 6:58P]
  5. I think the coach is guilty of being unsure of his own good judgement... maybe someone should bump up his self esteem or take him to a support group for insecurity... but the coaching staff as a whole should work together and so you cant get mad at what an assitant coach thinks or impresses upon a head coach.
  6. I think posts with subject matter pertaining to "moronic comments" and other obvious "pot shots" are what seem to be the problem. If you can bring some sarcasm or humorous wit and make us all "hoot and holler", that GREAT! I love that junk! But outright put downs are no fun! Foul ball on that stuff. But hey, in the words of my good buddy Footballfanactic, "that's just my opinion" and in the words of my father when I was four "quit your crying and just throw some dirt on it... boy"... you get the picture
  7. Man A! you are like a manipulative woman... claiming you dont want good marks and now racking it in. Its ok, play hard to get baller, but I'm on to your evil schemes.
  8. Thanks RaiderOne, This is my first semester out here. Its an awesome campus! But its a stinking travesty we're losing our football program... stupid basketball schools... but great to hear from ya much love <><
  9. As an Etsu Buccaneer I feel compelled to say... back off the jr. bucs...

  12. no prob A, I go to school 5 hours away, so the radar doesnt matter... (the "bee" can bring it, I aint scared) but I have been totally amused at the threads on here. Much love to all. But if I could tell the world just one thing it would be... dont mess with Texas or COFFEE COUNTY! Good luck in the fall! I'd give my left arm to be ambidextrous!
  13. Footballfanatic is the minister of much wisdom! He is the master Yodi of coacht. Respect his authoriti!
  14. RaiderOne dropping wisdom yo! my favorite part was about the "pot shots"... gotta love that! (Note to self: Use "pot shots" in a sentence and then laugh about it and think of RaiderOne) much love!
  15. Ok... thats it, I'll take on everyone in here!
  16. "Alrighty then"... you gotta love that! Queenbee... show reverence for the quotations of Jim Carey and drop it! coffee county.. footballfanatic.. and joe montana, forever!
  17. So let me get this straight.... Many of theses girls (probably not Boyd's) Spend many hours practicing, they give up their summers, and train at hitting centers during the fall and winter months, just so everyone can have a good ole country time. Hmmm... theflash- I do agree with you in that all scholastic sports are just a game and things need to be put into perspective. However, when players put that much time and effort to achieve thier full potential- it means something. When coaches (like Del) put that much time and effort into having a successful season- it means something as well! these games are more than just good ole times (even though they are some of the best times these student will ever have) they are pay-offs for all the hard work they have been putting in (for most) since the end of last season. if yo want to have a good ole country time, start an intermural league!
  18. Hey! ksc3 I know this is alittle off the topic, but- please don't begin a post with "get a life" and then end in somewhat of a bibical truth.... its never good to contradict yourself... just thought I'd THROW that out there (too bad Boyd's announcer isnt on here, he could have said that for me!) Hope the advice helps....
