  1. I doubt Josh Kerr would take it. I think he'll stay at AC and take over when Daddy retires. just my 2 cents
  2. Is this a real question? or a joke? best in the air...
  3. Its a shame that was such a poor game. But then again, its been like that for years now. I wish the levels of soccer would rise overall in TN. Good Luck LC
  4. I guess we all have opinions but the only opinions that count are those of the Coaches
  5. If voting isnt fair, what's a better solution?
  6. Huh? Youre gonna have to explain that a little better. Id say it would be hard to win MVP and not be a huge part of the team. Maybe I read you wrong but Idk.
  7. This district has always been the strongest in the state in A/AA. Every team in that district has once upon a time been ranked in the top 10 in the state with the exceptions of Loudon, Harriman, and I think ScottCo. But for some reason I wanna say Scott squirted in the top10 one time for a week. Thats pretty tough I think.
  8. Lets Sum it all Up: Oneida = Cant score, overrated, plays packed defence to a "T". 8-1-1 formation Kingston = Ok team overall better team than Oneida but lacks what it takes to win it all. LC = Best team in District, will win
  9. Oneida definetly uses their field to their advantage. They actually use it as a tool. My senior year we had a very good passing/possession oriented team. Well Oneida knew this. They failed to mow the field(on purpose I think). I promise you the grass was up over the ankles easily. Very thick and slow rolling grass. This limited our ablily to control passing and dribbling and the flow of the game, forceing us to play a lot more "kick ball". They used this tactic to force a Tie game with us. So yeah their field and the drive up there is the 12th man. It was a smart tactic i guess but a dirty one too. It was one of the most unfair playing surfaces Id ever played on.
  10. Size is a major factor especially in the upper levels of play. To say size doesnt matter at all is outragious. Maybe size isnt such a factor in HS soccer in Tennessee but the level of play isnt too high either
  11. Maybe the only reason I find Club championships more exciting is because I actually won a couple. I never had the chance in HS to win even a district title. But yeah my club team consisted mainly of bearden, Farragut, science hill, webb, and a few other random HS's.
  12. I came from a fairly small area and we had a core group of good soccer players during my highschool days. But club has always been looked at as Primary for me. We were an ok HS team. THe thing bout HS is you see many more individual awards. More publicity and so on. I personally enjoy the traveling and challenge club ball offers. My club team won two D-1 state championships in '99 and '00. After winning the state, thats where the fun kicks in. You go off to the Regionals and face all the other state champs. You see many many college coaches, meet people and compete with the best players around. The best we did at regionals was 3rd and we were ranked nationally 11th. The thing is, if this team was in HS ball everyone would know about it. Hardly anyone around here even knew all the success we had. So tryin to pick which one is best is crazy because you have to choose publicity vs. challenge, and I personally dont care about letting everyone know that i was mentioned honorably all-state two years and made all-region all 4 years of HS and had 60 career HS goals and have numerous school records. Ha!...
  13. Well, I wasnt sure how many career wins harriman had already because i know they are still a fairly new program. I know when i was in school they wouldnt play any varsity teams, only JV. Anyways, Ive been on these boards for quite some time and all the trash started on the harriman side from what ive seen dating back to that ignorant post about AC coaches paying refs and a coach giving his son an award for the sole reason of him being his son. But back on track...yeah this was definetly an Upset to a stumbling program.
  14. Hey i was just curious if this was Harrimans first ever Varsity win???
  15. Oh hey RHSOS, I started that Chicago Bulls thread for you. Compliments of Me. Dont mention it buddy! OH! one more thing. Im 5'9" how tall are you?!?!
  16. DoeJohn...A community leader with nothing better to do than watch Harryman practice. How sad

    Div2 A/AA

just to clear all this up. AC is D1 a/aa. You can easily see that on this link, http://www.tssaa.org As for the '03 mavericks...??they just better work hard. [Edited by AJ10Socr on 1-7-03 11:04A]

    Fulton 24 G-P 0

luck could only take GP so far.....
  20. if it rains friday nite, count on GP to be tough. If the weather is fine then Fulton will prevail big. After round two, Fulton is my new favorite to win it all...
  21. Well I pretty much agree with BigDeal. Eliminating mistakes and solid special teams will carry the Mavs into the next round. The only thing I'm kinda doubting about what BigDeal said is the idea of G.P scoring 21 pts. I guess we will just have to wait and see for ourselves. Good luck to both teams...
  22. The Mavericks will come out on top of this one 35-14. Sanders will have a good game, but the Mavs will utilize other weapons as well.
  23. Any predictions on this match-up? Just wondering
