Ok as a player of 15 years, now a coach of 6 years at the High School level and Official of 10 years( club, high school and collage) I think this rule is CRAZY. Show me any other state or governing soccer body that has a rule of 2 game suspension. There are rules of soccer that have been for 50 years or so and you cant just change them. Soccer official are trained to ref by USSF and FIFA rules and as a ref Its hard to then change the way you ref for High School. So far this year In the knoxville area Red card are at 16 more than all of last year and we are only 3 weeks in. TSSAA tell the officals at the rules meeting that there is zero tollerance for everything and so most officials seem to be listening. My team is in our 5th game and we have had 3 red card and none for anything but an inadvertant slip of the mouth. I think this rule is CRAZY. If they keep the rule officials should take more from the players or this rule should be changed back. My good friend officiates Football and if someone ejected the star querterback for say the F word not directed at anyone and because he's mad the rule would be changed tomorrow. Once again TSSAA makes rules for Football and everyone else suffers. I wish each sport was looked at by people who no what there doing not Ex football players and coaches that dont have a clue.

THE GAME TURNED OUT 0-0. LENOIR CITY PLAYED DOWN TO THE COMPITION AND LOUDON HAD A GOOD GAME PLAN AND STUCK TO IT. DONT THINK IT WAS A GOOD GAME FOR LENOIR CITY THEY SHOULD BE MUCH BETTER THIS YEAR HOWEVER AS A FORMER COACH IN THIS SERIES I THINK THIS MAY BE ONE OF THE BEST LOUDON TEAMS I HAVE SEEN. LANDON MONDAY AND ISRAEL GONZALES ARE THE TWO SOPH KEEPERS FOR LC AND I CANT TELL YOU WHICH ONE IS BETTER THEY ARE BOTH AWSOME AND COACH HARRIS WILL HAVE A HARD TIME CHOOSING ONE. LANDON CAN ALSO PLAY IN THE FIELD AND MAY DO SO BEFORE ITS OVER, HIS OLDER BROTHER WAS A BIG PART OF THE 2003 TEAM THAT WENT TO STATE.

WHAT TIME AND WHERE IS THE FARRAGUT CATHOLIC GAME?

Let me start by setting the record straight. Livingston Acd. beat Lenoir City JV 5-1. Lenoir City for the first time is years has a full 20 man varsity and 20 man JV. Coach Martin did step down following the 2007 season and LC does have a new coach Jesse Harris. Coach Harris already has done great things with the team and comes from and good background of east tennessee soccer. The varsity Tied Powell 3-3 on a last minute Powell PK and tonight tied Oak Ridge 0-0 in a great game where both teams had several chances to score with both defenses playing great. Lenoir City should have a great year if coach Harris can keep the boys healthy and playing the way they are now. I think the future of lenoir city soccer is good and they should under the direction of coach harris, and the large number of young players(only 3 senoirs) compete even with the powerhouses of AAA in the next few years.

LC beat Loudon 3-1! Cant wait to play Kingston Saturday at 7pm @ LC!!!

#16 for Lenoir City served his 1 game for Unsportsmanlike last friday night. From here on LC has everyone and is moving on!

New rankings are out on soccerinfo, what does everyone think? LC didnt drop out they just moved to #4. But as everyone says it doesnt matter till the last game. Only one team will win there last game.

As a ref I can say that cusing has nothing to do with soccer. I hear at least 20 bad words a game and do nothing. As a ref you have to use your cards to only deal with hard fouls or the cards lose meaning. I officate from High school to the college level and I have never carded for profanity. Also the rule book is there as a guide and thats all. A good ref stops the game as little as possable. Any player will tell you that you should just let them play. Carding for cusing or things that the Laws of the game say your should card for is stupid. Let the kids play!!! Untill you have done big games and have been there as a ref dont tell people what refs should do!

TSCA gives the award every year for DivII, A/AA and AAA player of the year since TSSAA doesnt award anything. Last year Mitch was selected as A/AA player of the year.
