Why would William Blount hire a coach from Lenoir City. What has L.C. done that would allow Coach White to be a consideration? Best thing for W.B. is to hire a fairly young coach with lots of energy and fire, to get the kids to step up and play at the level of their region foes.

What are the problems? I thought coach Webb was a good coach, But the players wouldn't by into his hard nose style.

How are your girls doing? Haven't seen anything dealing with them. We are 7-4 a far cry from 2-9 last year. Girls have and still are working hard.

L.C. will always be a middle of the road team until they have full support of the administration and school board members. The best thing that could happen to L.C. would be a changing of the guard from top to bottom. Fresh people that haven't had anything to do with the L.C. program over the last 20 years would be nice. 62, if you are having problems with bending at the back, then your hip flexors are to tight. Most people don't even know how important hip flexors are to the squat. If your hip flexors are to tight, then your waist will bend foward on the way down. This will cause you to use to much back, therefore lowering your ability to use higer weights. If you would like to loosen them, DO NOT do goodmornings, they will tighten the hip flexors up. Now that we know the problem lets take care of it. In order to loosen up the hip flexors, you must streach them daily, 2 times a day. Streach them by using a slightly extended foward lung, while raising the opposite hand high in the air, reaching back as far as possible keeping shoulders square. Repeat for other side. Most of all keep weight on heels, look up at ceiling and sit back as if to sit on the toilet. Also think about pushing the hips foward on the way up. I hope this helps you get to where you want to be.

I agree the hands must start the bat towards the ball, in order for the barrel to get through the zone quickly.

No doubt, when an ump calls a ball that curves around the foul poll, FOUL, then somethings got to give. I always thought it was a homerun. But, we all knows how it goes. Umps can make any call they wish and they are right. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.Cascade lost that one. Good luck to both teams, you both played a good game.

throw46 I'm not sure if you have ever seen Riverdale play ,but over the last few years Riverdale's line has been huge. I believe they have averaged around 265-270 or more .(in high school) Coach Rankin will do a great job where ever he may be!
