South Pitt did get killed by them two teams but like he said they didnt have there two best players in Antonio and Starkey, they are two very good players. The only problem i see with South Pitt is that they dont have a very good ball handlers and depth hurts them alot.

Well actually it was only a 11 pt game at halftime i believe but the 3rd qrt scoring was 22-6, SP did a 221 press and the tigers tried to run and gun with them so you know that aint going to work with a team as athletic as South Pitt

Yea South Pitt won by like 35, it was pretty close in the first until whitwells pt guard got 4 fouls with like 6 min left in the 2nd qrt. Im not making any excuses but the refs really need to figure out what a charge is. I was hopin for an Antonio dunk but was dissapointe. He had like 8 blocks and was dominant on defense.

Hey Whitwell is 8-0 and have beaten everyone by 20 or more except jasper which they only won by 1 but rival games are always close, they have all 5 starters from last year and can shoot the lights out, i know they havent played anyone but still they look really good this year.

Boyd moved up to 5aa i do believe. Whitwell is 7-0 and playing very good and the only game they have trailed is the jasper game. If im not mistaken Valley only beat Richard Hardy by like 12. But I would say Grace and Copper Basin are pretty good also but best watch out for Whitwell this year.

Tonight at Whitwell Sale Creeks Point Guard went up for the layup and was fouled and went down hard. He stayed down for a while. They called the ambulance because it was his neck. As i was leaving the game i over heard a lady say that they got a call from the hospital and they said that his neck wasnt broken but he did have a dislocated soulder and a bad contusion on the back of his head but if you know anythign please reply but please everyone keep him in your prayers

So how are the teams in 6-A doing so far this year. I know Whitwell is 2-0 but havent played to a good team this year. I think they beat City by 50 and Berean by 30 or so.

Lol, totally agree with you on that one. But with Sale Creek, Temple beat them by like 20 without both skogens. They are extremely improved from last year but i just dont think they are a contender in the district, they really dont seem to have the depth and talent to play 4 qtrs of up tempo basketball. Good luck to Sale Creek this year.

I watched them play in the jamboree and dont get me wrong they have improved a whole lot from last year, this new coach seems to really have them working hard and hustling. But i just dont see them beating valley, i wish they would but i just dont see it, Temple ended up beating them by like 20 or something and both skogens didnt play. I believe Whitwell will win this district this year with LV in second. Whitwell is returning all 5 starters from last year and have looked really good this summer. I watched sale creek in the jamboree and they looked pretty bad with no inside presence, temple ended up winning by 30 or so.

Yea temple played pretty well, depended on the three a whole lot but you have to take into consideration that both skogens didnt play. Sale Creek looked as if they have improved a whole lot. City beat Richard Hardy but it was a pretty close game and Richard Hardy rotated 3 teams of 5. Whitwell plays 21st Century sat at 3 and 345 then valley and silverdale then csas and copper basin.

I totally agree with the picks and i know nobody will believe me on this one but Whitwell girls are looking pretty good this year, they went 15-14 last year and return everyone and with boyd and ccs out or the region they have a good shot at winning the region this year.

Yea i watched them play this summer and yesterday in the East Ridge play day. They have improved a whole lot. They played 4 games 1st was against Lookout Valley, they played decent for who they had there, two starters didnt get there til half time and the other two starters didnt get there til the end of the game. 2nd game was against david brainerd and they won easily as well as the third game against east ridge. the fourth game was against central and when it was varsity vs varstiy whitwell won but central won the game overall because whitwell had there entire jv play the second half vs there varsity

Chatt. Christian had a very good boys team when they had Holwerda and Chatt. Christian girls seems to always have a good girls team but always seem to get upset.

Im not totally sure but i do believe that Whitwell is suppose to host the district this year but i think they are going to decline it this year so they can have the district and the region next year so there is a good possiblity that Sale Creek will host again because Whitwell and Sale Creeks the only teams in the District with gyms big enought to hold the tournament.

Oh my bad i really dont know much about him, new to the district so i really dont have an opinion on him.

Oh yea i totally agree i am totally glad they got this new gym, last year we played we prolly had 20 people fall down by just running and trying to stop where the court was so slippery. I think the gym will hurt Hardys record because that small court helped them because they could get back in like 3 secs and set up there 2-3 zone and compact it.

Wow man, did you even go to the game??? I held him to 10 pts and 8pts and out rebounded him in both games, he just dont like when people are physical with him, i mean yea hes a good player and yea South Pitt beat us twice(Killed us at South Pitt) but it was Allison that killed us not Antonio.
