The only thing i have to say is that Edmiston is not the best qb in the state. I said it before, you cant have one break out game, and call h im the best. Where was he the BHS game and the other game yall lost.I am not taking anything away from the kid. i am sure he is a fine athlete. Just not the best qb in the state. I know for a fact, even tho i dont like to admit it, Steven Briton for RHS is better. Also, i would like to know how many yards he has rushing, b/c i dont think he is the 2nd leading rusher in the state. if he is, more power to him. i am just wondering. But carlos crawford has just at, if not more than 500 yards, in 3 games, on around 55 carries. thats about 9 yards a carry. and i dont care what level of football that is, that is great running.

This week Oakland travels to Lebanan. Oakland is the only unbeaten team in the region, and this is a big region game. LHS has beaten OHS the past 2 years. However, both those years OHS kiled themselves with penaties. Also, OHS now has LHS's old coach Coach Marshall. He is a good coach, and i think LHS misss him. What are yalls predicions?

Yes. I dont know how u can sit there and say he emerged as the top qb in the state. one breakout game doesnt make him the best qb in the state. from everything i have heard, riverdale was in position to win the game even before the missed field goal. there is still 7 games left to play.if u and LCHS get hyped now, then yall will think yall have arrived, and thats when yall get beat.

Im not sure what ankle it is, but if i was a betting person, i would bet it is t h same ankle he had trouble with at t he beginning of the year. i would also bet it is broken.

I think Rico surprised everyone today including himself! He moved, ran, and cut exceptionally well for today being his first day out of the cast! From talking to the trainer the schedule right now is rehab and the Hendersonville game at the earliest. But he did say with the way he's moving already anything is possible! And bigdan was right Corey Dill is doing great, he will likely be back in pads next week! i dont think that rico will play this friday. if he does, i am sure it will be in limited use.I dont think tho, he will pla y if they have a trainer who cares about the health of the players.

I am not sure who #6 is, but i think he is a sophmore. i do know for a fact that rico is #1.

I agree with you, but just to remind u, bhs only has 1 year of history...so.....but anyway, bhs will be with out rico turner. this is the only reason the game will be close. or the only reason bhs loses.

Oakland and shelbyville play this friday night. any one know anything about the shs eagles? i dont know much about them accept they got it handed to them last friday night by nashville's overton. any info on shs, and you predictions on the game.

Yea right. Bretwood and franklin better than RHS, OHS, and Blackman....ahahaha. It has been said and i will say it again, even tho i dont much care for rhs, all 3 of those teams are better than brentwood and fhs. maybe brentwood could beat them on a good night, but, fhs, no way. it dont matter what has happened in the last 2 weeks. 4-5a is the hardest region in the state, with 3 of the top teams in the state in it. when fhs plays some1 good, and gives them a good shalacking, then come talk to me....until then, i will laugh at the thought of them being as good as rhs, ohs, or bhs(blackman)

Smyrna beat the oakland freshman. That, however, doesnt mean anything. superman obviously is a flamin idiot, cuz, he said smyrna was ranked last. last in what. freshman dont have regions......so i dont know what he is talking about. anyway, i agree with ohspats, it showed a lack of class by not shaking OHS's hands. even tho they ruhed the field, they all t urned and came back to shake hands......SHS just left. a few ohs players shook hands with an SHS coach, but nobody else shook ohs's hands.....i dont care what you say, that is CLASSLESS on smyrnas part. oh yea, and superman, i dont know how u can say smyrna showed they had more heart. oaklands D was on the field backed up several time, and yall did nothing on most of yalls possessions. so, i dont know.....but i think ohs showed more heart, they wanted it more, and thats why they won.

yes, ohs beat smyrna 17-10 in ot. however, oakland should never have let it get that close. smyrnas defense was soft. james jansen, haha, he is nuthing. i saw him get put on his back on more than 1 occasion. infact, i would bet on 75% of the plays he was on his back. so.... oakland had too many turnovers. if u take turnovers out, and add points, thats like 21 points off of turnovers. also, oakland had a huge td pass called back. i have to say tho, that smyrna did not quit. good for them. i just think they were out played and out coached. i think oakland was the better team...and the scoreboard shows it. i think if you would have replayed that game over 100 times, 99 of them would win in an ohs win......GO PATS!!!!!!

i know at oaklan, on thursday nights after practice, alot of the guys go out and eat together, then back to a players house and play xbox or ps2, NCAA football 2003, naturally. On fridays,they eat pregame meal at 3, then at about 330, they watch a movie in the field house

I have to think that the chatt. area teams just arent as good as the mid. ten. teams, ie, riverdale, oakland, blackman, and yes, even smyrna and la vergne. i also think that you give SD too much praise. Yes, i wil give it to them, they beat, in commanding fashion, a very depleted, not very good, RB team......but hey, i just think it goes back to the weak Chatt.Regions and such......but i dont want mrsoddydaisy to get up set, or anyother SD or Chatt. team fan, its just an opinion....

Yea, i hear what your saying. But beleive me when i say this. oakland preformed 200 times better on friday night than they did in any of their scrimmages. Aside from turning the ball over 3 times off of fumbles, and a few miscues on the 2nd team defense's part, they played alot better than their scrimmages. I think you should come watch the game if u get the chance. your right, it will be a good game. Ohs- 28 shs- 14

Smyrna 28 Oakland 17 Don't have a vested interest in this one, I just think Oakland is a bit overated, and Smyrna has momentum. Ok. I dont agree with your statement itzme, and here is why. i think oakland went out last week and proved they were a good team, even tho they were hit very hard with injuries. also, i have to think it is going to be a close game. i think, however, that oakland is more balanced, therefore giving them a better chance to win. also, i think oakland has a good enough defense, and secondary, to cause smyrna a little bit of trouble. i dont know much about smyrna's defense, but i just dont think they will be able to take 4 quarters of down hill, hardnosed football.
