wow,that will be a challenge. although, if u noticed, last year they didnt throw the ball nearly enough. and i know rhs always has a good enough defensive interrior to stop their run. which, will case them to pass....and hitting a possible weak point in the RHS defense. so, it will be interesting

I agree with you that he should could have his own driver. i think if any pro athlete is gonn go out and drink, then they should hire somebody to drive them. that way, all kinds of mess like this wont happen. i do think that the media did do a lil too much. i know he is a star and everything, but tons of peopl get stopped with a DUI, and the news dont blow it up. i know with him being a star he is put in the spot light, but dont agree with that. i think just because he is famous, he is entitled to his privacy

who does riverdale play the second game..... I know of all the region team they play, but what else. what is their schedule this year. And bob, no disrespect taken from u sayin we were middle of the pack last year, because we were. i think we had the talent to be great, but werent. i dont know why either.

Well said....if we still had good marks, u get one. I think Riverdale had a good year. I go, well, schools out for me so, i went, to oakland, and i really dont like riverdale. But, they did have a good year. they aren't just a football team. sure, thats their more dominant program, but, that doesnt mean that they cant be good in other sports too.

If the coacht scoreboard is correct, then The oakland patriots beat sullivan east again today by 1 run. Oakland hasnt had a bad year, and they are gonna try to defeat munford tonight. Congrats to S.E on their good season.

Tell em bob....i'm gonna go ahead and say it like this....Oakland can do the Dern thing....they beat them again today to eliminate sullivan east. granted, it wasnt as big a blow out, but blow outs arent supposed to happen in the state tourney

He was reporting. if he was flappin, he would have been like "the sorry warriors from riverdale, who luckily made it to the state tourney, got the crap kicked outta them 2-0, and ended their season crappily, with a dismal record of 37-7." did he say that, no. he said they lost and were ousted from the tourney....thats REPORTING. And when u say what about the state tourney brackets, ur just makin excuses for why they lost. Your right, oakland lost. but i highly doubt anybody picked them to make it to the state tourney, certainly not in the fashion of beating Bradley central at bradley 20-2. as for riverdale beating the pats earlier in the year, oakland has beaten riverdale too. and what does that even matter. all you have to do is win now. it has no matter what ur record was, state tourney starts over 0-0.

To me, i think that you will find with Cent. and the wishbone the same thing that has happened to Hendersonville and the Wing-T. When you have a good year running an "irregular" style of offense, then the next year you opponents will have better idea of how to game plan you. I think they will be able to fill the gaps better, cover better, make better reads, etc.. Hendersonville has lacked in offensive production over the past few years, whether or not its b/c of lack of talent, or not. i think it is because the wing t has become and offense where you can only do so many things out of the same formation, its easy to see where the play is going. i know when i played at oakland, the coaches knew every play what was going to be run, and the taught the kids that. Thats how they had so much success against the wing-t. They stopped everybody that ran the wing-t. I think that this will happen to Cent. in the comming years....it may not happen right away, but i wouldnt be surprised if you see more opponents shift into schemes where they can top a particular play.

Being a player from last year, Crouch, i can tell you this. IF maurice is ineligble, then he cant play he whole year. You have to pass 5 classes to play. They have 5th or 6th period football, so thats 1 easy pass, then they have to pass 4 more. If not, they cant play the next year. I still dont know if it is true though. I have heard it is true...i have heard it isnt. I havent really talked to him about it cuz if it is true, i dont want to bring up a bad mood or the like..... Hopefully, it isnt. i know he has been workin hard this off season, gettin a whole lot stronger. If he cant play, that will leave a huge hole on the offensive side, and defensive side of the ball..... Well, i am off to my last day of High School....ta ta for now

ok tennis1, the competition may not have been that high a level, it might have been. i dont keep up with the exciting, physical sport known as tennis. i do know this though...oakland has a very good tennis team. their girls are probably better than the guys, but both are good. i wouldnt be surprised if the girls double team won state. just b/c you dont think they didnt play good competiton to make it to state, dont mean they havent beaten good people on their way

i tell you this, playing at mtsu is not fun. I played for oakland for 4 years, and the first game we had our own stadium was the last regular season game my sophomore year. i hated playing at mtsu. the turf stinks. for one thing, turf burn hurts so bad. i remember my jr. year playin riverdale there, i slid like 6 yards on my stomach diving for a fumble(i slid b/c the turf was wet) and had a big turf burn on my stomach...the jersey came up in mid slide. plus, the injuries are more common. speaking from experience, i hated playing at middle. i really dont think that Seigle will like it either. they might at first, u know...being excited about not only playing for the first time, but playing at a big college, it is exciting. but, the excitement wears off, and u realize it hurts to be on the ground, and they will realize that midway through stretching

How come only 1 person has mentioned Oakland? Does nobody think they are any good? i mean, i know they beat Riverdale. I know they have a very good pitcher in Zach Primm. Brad Robinson has had a few disappointing trips recently, but i think he will be ok. I think he will step it up. I think that Oakland has the ability to beat any team in the state if they go out and play like they can. Sure, they have lost several games, but, they have played most of them close, some out of state teams, and have played a difficult schedule. Having said that, i think everybody needs to be quiet about who will beat who, and let the teams play.

Well, i know that carlos from oakland is gonna be real good. after blocking for him the past 2 years, and seeing what he can do, i think he will be one of the, if not the, best in the region. Aj i think will get the nod at Fullback, but thats just my opinion. Oh, and by the way, the reason Aj was starting at DE was b/c bo jones was hurt, not because he was better

Wattup all yall fellers out there. I am back. Region4Fan, LB11 is right, i am gonna go to mtsu and try to walk on. Whether or not i am gonna try this year or not i have not yet decided. i may wait until next year, and take the year off and just concentrate on getting acclimated to school. but, i have already gotten my orientation stuff for MTSU, and i am excited to be going there.

It is crazy. No body from oakland got it. Only john carter was nominated, but he didnt get it...i know tere are better d-ends than him in the state, but he is a great one. strong and fast....he got jipped if you ask me

Is warren county still in 5a? Cuz, i know that 2 years ago, my sophmore year, we played them, and that was the last time we(0akland) played them. We may just not have scheduled them. I am glad we did that year though, cuz i got to play like the whole 2nd half....it was great. i think that was the year that they had one good offensive lineman, he was a tackle....not shure who he was though.
