What makes you think dekalb can win agianst Warren County. You all are talking like this a sure win. Warren County beat you 50+ points last year. And yes, everbody has been hard at it since last year.

When you say WC, are you refering to Warren County or White County?????

To hoop20, have you ever thought about talent? There is no talent in Warren County, boys or girls. You can talk all you want but you can`t coach talent. Just because you didn`t like her or she kicked you off the team, don`t hate her. It seems like I remember your playing days. You were better as a freshmen. Does that mean you learned more at Irving College or her system made you worse?

WHAT !!!!! I can`t believe they did not hire Britton. What a bone head move. I guess the admin. lived up to the hype and decided that football was not important in warren county. The fans should be in an uproar. Get ready to suffer another winless season and hire another noname coach in another 2 years.

There will be a news conference today at 10 am to name the new coach. I guess Britton wanted to get it done before he goes back to school. I wonder how many coaches he keeps and who he boots out the door. I would clean house if I was him.

I`m sire after Britton gets here and puts in the Riverdale system we will see a surge of players coming out and wanting to be on the a winning team. It will only take time and leaving Britton alone. The parents need to stay out of the way and let him make real men out of thier pansies kids. It will happen. You have to believe!!!!!!

After seeing the Warren County teams last night, they looked awful. The girls blew a lead and the boys were never in the game. They looked very unprepared. This could be a long season for the Pioneers.

So what are they waiting for. Do they really think that they will get any brand name coaches apply for this job. I heard that the interm coach applyied. If he was good enough to pick up the pieces during the season why not let him have it full time. I don`t think very many Quality coaches are itching to get this job.

The only way Lebanon wins this one is if thier players get to the locker room early and steal FC helments. FC might have a hard time playing bare headed.

So if Scott Smith got the job at WC and another big time school came open, are you saying he would be gone. Whats the use of hiring someone when you know he will be gone when "something better comes along". WC needs someone that will be here as long as it takes to get the job done.

1-I think it might be hard for Scott Smith to get a serious look after he got tossed out of the middle school game. Warren County doesn`t need a hot head that gets tossed. The situation at WC needs someone with class and a cool head to show these kids how to act. 2- The current AD has done more to harm the football program than to help it. He needs backbone to stand up to parents and let the coaches coach. MAybe a clean house would draw more coaches that can turn the program around.

From what I heard, Livindston got tired of getting thier tails kicked by WC and decided not to play this year. I went to the game last year and Livingston could not do anything, off. or def. They looked real bad. Idunk2 must be jealous and crying because WC has a real team, not a prentender.

If Livingston is so good why didn`t they play Warren County this year. I know the last couple years Wc spanked Livingston pretty bad.

Hopefully WC will at least show up for this one. I dont think they will win but I am looking for some effort this week. Next week should be better.

Madewell maybe but I dont think Watson would leave the middle school program. He`s got a good thing going on with his asst. coaches there and he seems happy.

How have the players responded to the new coach? Can the Pioneers compete this weekend or will it be the same old team? Questions remain?????

Hey idunk2, how do you see Warren County agianst Christina Middle? Do the Pioneers have a chance or is christina to much? I haven`t heard or seen much about christina and I thought you might know something about them.

I think WC has 11 games this year. They are not part of any conference so they can play as many as they want. Tell your son to get ready the Pioneers are on a roll. Unlike the high school, these kids know how to win and expect to win every time they line up.

Starting the 4th quarter you could tell the pioneers wanted it more. Thier last drive for a touchdown was impressive but thier stand on defense showed what this team is all about. Thier defense has made a point all year.

The PIT is a great place, BUT what about the hole at Warren County. I know they haven`t won there but the way the field is built in the horse shoe with the word PIONEERS planted with shrubs looks great. In the past (20 years past) this wasa a great and very difficult place to play. Theres nothing like playing in the hole.

Hey idunk2, does this mean that Warren County is a Contender now? Any team that can go 8-0 and beat the teams they have beaten, has to be a pretty good football team.

With Warren County being as bad as they are and only keeping coaches for an average of 2 years, will Tidwell quit before the end of the year or be forced to resign at the end of the year. Just curios as to what people are thinking. Who will they try to get and will Rankin apply agian to go back home? Intersting thoughts with only 4 games played.

You do have to take your hats off to these assistant coaches because they are doing thier best at trying to hold this ship upright. The problem is though when and if the so called head coach does come back, what kind of loyalty will the kids have. To madewell and the assistants or to tidwell?I heard that they only have 4 paid coaches all the way from middle school up. That puts a heavy load on those 4 coaches and they have stood up well to the pressure. How much help do they get on Friday nites from the freshmen coaches. It`s hard to run a game with only 3 coaches. Practice is hard enough, but running a game with 3 coaches on the field and in the box upstairs is pretty much a no go. Anyway good luck to the 3 coaches that are trying to do the best they can and keep a positive outlook on the important things.

I`ve got a great idea. Why not just leave your starters at home and just bring your JV team. Your just playing Warren Co. and everybody knows how weak they are. I would not put your starters in the position to strain a muscle or get injured getting off the bus or walking across the field.
