  1. First of all Seldon is simply defending his team against claims that others are better......seeing as they won the AAA championship he is entitled to do so. LcSoccer, Farragut's defense looking shaky had much to do with the loss of the best sweeper in the state, Dustin Crouse, in the beginning of the tournament. I guarantee the skill of the Farragut team is above average in every position and the depth is unmatched. Although one may say CBHS plays a game thats a "pleasure to watch" the pretty game does not always win. The athleticism, strength and skill combination of the Admirals would be incredibly hard to stop. And to those saying size does not matter, have you ever been pushed off a ball....enough said. One cannot judge the ability of a team based on a game against rivals....too much emotion involved. But if one was to see Farragut destroy two top ranked Georgia teams and a highly touted Houston team, all at their respective homes, they would agree that the Admirals would welcome and enter confidently into any game with a Division II opponent.
  2. those arent my words dale, and lets just stop the trash talking and lets just play

    Valdosta St.

valdosta state 31 cn 28 seven in a row lost on the road for the eagles in the playoffs
  4. how about head coach eddie courtney and offensive coordinator ben lyle at farragut for the award? oh wait nevermind it is who does more with less instead of less with more.
  5. jacob brown at wr, and andrew koszela at de, definitely not dickey at qb, jacob made him look good helton, whetsel at qb milligan, harper at rb minor at wr oconnor at k colquit at p there are several more
  6. i'm not sayin he is the best, but but he put up the best receiving numbers by far and he was also snubbed by the coaches, he could have easily had 1500 receiving yards but the coaches didn't throw to him or play him in some games . . . milligan was not a great qb
  7. perhaps the most bogus comment i've ever heard . . . . schools give their cheerleading scholarships to football players because they could care less about cheerleading . . . and no, it isn't a sport, it is a popularity thing, and i'd like to see some cheerleaders throw a football 60 yards, shoot a basketball and make it consistently, dunk a basketball . . . . the athletes who play basketball in the NBA are the best athletes in the world . . . cory meggate did a flip in a dunk contest then dunked the ball, i'm sure no one taught him how to do it either, he just did it
  8. Jacob Brown has made so many plays for his team to keep his team in games and eventually win them. After five games(4-1,2-0) he has 7 tds and plenty of yards well over a 100 av per game. Our qb just makes a good job of putting the ball in the area and Brown literally makes the play on his own. He is definitely the MVP of his team.
  9. He is a very good lineman although he lacks a little weight. He is 6'5 but only about 225. He has great skill and speed. He plays for Farragut, which has the best offensive line around.

    Webb/Bearden

"webb has too much talent" that is funny
  11. i think only maryville has more talent than Farragut in the knoxville area only time will tell and so i dont think Farragut or oak ridge too high and sweetwater has excellent athletes but their still only two a
  12. Based on record it has to be brad atchley
  13. Well, i just thought that i would bring this thread back up and see what are thoughts are now after this bearden hoopla is over. Lets just say we told you so we talked the talk and walked the walk
