yall are all naming some bigtime recievers....but nobody can equal the greatness that is douglas foote of mba...this kid is just a beast, great hands, uncharactistic white boy ups, and mad skills when it comes to finding the hole of a zone defense, and he absolutely laid out one of the freshmen dback's on a run play, watch out for his name in the future as he is only a sophomore

Witnessing the event, I believe the wet conditions were a factor. Bubis and Santi (the other MBA thrower) were the only spinners in DII and both threw well below their regular throws. Wet Conditions effect the spin technique much more than the glide.

yes a forty second shot clock would not speed the game up too much but would force a team in the led to shot at least some time. i approve

Giles over Harpeth, Marshall over Waverly, Lewis over Cheatham, and you guessed it Sycamore getting beat AGAIN by a very good Fairview team.

Giles will dominate everyone in suckamore's district. It isn't going to even be worth the long drive to the sticks. Smith is going to take care of business, that means Pierce and Dansby just better stay home because it aint gonna happen baby!

BigRed3 I absolutly agree with your post about coach Elliot. He is the greatest football mind i have ever spoken with, and devised a perfect gameplan to stop Brohm and Trinity, but the truly incredible thing is that his gameplans are this great week in and week out. His efforts go nearly unnoticed every week by everyone outside of the MBA program and he definitley deserves recognition.

excuse me, but i wouldn't be dissin mba's line. any line that can carry their team to a state championship should deserve a little credit. sure, they were small, but when in the clinic bowl did you see king dunlap, mr. football winner blow over the mba front 5? he never did anything. mba's line is the most tenacious in that state. they're not afraid of anybody. so give them a little respect. they deserve it.

There is something that y'all need to understand about Bob Fresorger, the mackdaddy of all trainers. Freeze delivers both physically and mentally. He mends the broken bodies of MBA's players while teaching them what life is really about. He constantly berates players who come in complaining of an injury and never seems to forget when someone screws with him. Freeze is a world class trainer, who formerly has worked with the Florida Gators (yeah baby- Go Gators) and the Nashville Kats. He has an uncanny nack for delivering poignant messages at exactly the right time. I don't know how everyone else at MBA feels, but I feel especially priviliged to have him as my trainer. Here's to the one...the only...the Freeze. P.S. EAD, Bob!

yes, making it to the game 4 of the last 5 years is great even with 4 losses, but on the other hand mba has made it, and won it 4 of the last 5 years, that sure seems a lot better.....

to all of the ba people on here saying "you just want to knock us because we are the best"....i was just wondering when the last time yall won state, because that pretty much proves who is the best?

why does everyone keep bringing up the 4 losses? yes, we lost 4 games! but i dont think people understand the whole aspect of the situation. MBA soundly beat 3 out of the 4 teams that beat us. who gives a flying fart that we lost 4 games earlier in teh season? once we gelled, we were unstoppable. It doesnt matter whether or not we lost to 4 teams, but what does matter is that we beat 3 of the 4 on the way to a state championship!! come on guys! so lose the whole "they lost 4 games, so they stink!" deal

I have played against both of the aforementioned teams, and will have to say that DB is better. Their ground game is better, their line is faster and stronger, and their receivers and backs are faster. I predict DB 30 - Riverdale 20.
