Uh oh! This fella played football for a recreational team win he was 9! Now everyone knows that playin peewee football gives you a right to talk. haha. No way man. JV games don't even come close to Varsity, so peewee football and highschool varsity is about as close as comparing (well let me put it in some baseball lingo) Rice's baseball team to Rice's football team. You might know football but i guarentee Transplant knows his as well. Anyways i don't have a problem with ya i just wanted to let you know. oh you know me too, you have for the past 3 years. What i wanna know is who is acrossthetracks, he's a new one but he likes West High and Scotty Mull apparently.

Artie your ignorance is unmatched. If you knew who you were talkin to you wouldn't even think about openin your mouth to transplant again. Plus, you never played football, so where does all of your incredible knowledge of the game come from? Stick to baseball and take your trash talk to the diamond with you.

Matthew Rice of Mo-West will be a big time player this year. He's got a lot stronger and has the experience from last year. Watch for Rice to make a lot of plays at corner and possibly punt returner.

Flyinpro, don't think that because a few people from West seem arrogant sometimes, that everyone is that way. There's always gonna be people like that who build up their team and such. Hopefully it isn't the players, i've found that most of the time it's just a fan who doesn't realize he's fueling other team's fires. Also, the Jeff county team will be very good this year, if the can handle DB in the playoffs they might have a shot at the title. MLREB, Coach Ballard is back to coaching so he must be doin better than he was. i don't have any specifics though.

Don't forget Chris McCord from Maryville, the kid is shifty and quick. He's always makin another big play

Starsnbars, The recievers will be Tyler Moore (#4), Trey Gilbert (84), Jeremy Smith (1), Matt Jones ( Returning Tight end #17) and there's more guys tryin to get in the rotation as well. Moore should be the biggest play maker, he saw a lot of action last year but you never know who will step up. The Secondary was young last year was not very experience, Except for LaRue Isom. They Return 3-4 guys who saw a lot of time. Matt Rice, Scotty Mull, Brad Harris, Scotty Dixon, and Wes Williamson. They also aquired Tim Weatherall who played a little linebacker last year but injured his knee. Mull started every game and Rice started probably 70 percent and was used as the nickel back a lot. I know the kicking game will be good. and I doubt Coach Woods would have a quaterback who couldn't handle pressure. The OL should be in good shape if they stay together. Do you know what Alex Rouse will play starnsnbars? i haven't heard n answer from anyone else yet

well transplant looks like we're some of the few people who don't base a team's season on a dang spring scrimmage. i guess we dont know what we're talkin about or somethin.

Does anyone know what position Rouse is gonna play? Or will he play various positions. I'd expect WR and DB as well. There are many players in the Secondary who got quality playing time last year also, so that shouldn't be a concern. Don't forget about McCord and Gaskin- their gonna have big plays all season.

Flyinpro, man you have no faith in West. And some of your statements were kinda out there. Cocke County almost having a great program? Did you see them last year? Jeff county will be strong i agree with you but that game will be close. What does Greeneville have comin back that makes you think they'll be raw? Their senior class last year was loaded but i dunno about this year. Crocket? i'm not even gonna touch that one. i don't think you know as much about these other teams as you think, since you don't even know Lavante Barber's name. Cuz, what you talkin bout man. you should know that stuff won't happen again.

West's first scrimmage was canceled, it was suppose to be soddy daisy but their school was out all week for flooding. And second week West did scrimmage Anderson Co. but didn't perform very well

mikebleedsblue, you heard right about the trojans not performing well against anderson county this spring. i know people will disagree but i believe the reason West's O didn't do well was the fact thgat the 1st scrimmage was canceled. If West would have had the scirmmage the week before, the offense would have been more inpressive against anderson co. The talent is there, they just have to get experience. charles rucker, a 1000 yard rusher is back, along with a couple of recievers who played a lot and a few more who will get in the recieving rotation. The line may be the weakest part so far, but they always come through. So is the whole Barber thing a load of crap?

i don't think anyone on my team actually shaves their head but it get really close, usually about an 1/8 of and inch. it does feel a whole lot better and i think peer pressure has nothing to do with it. plavich5, i hope the city where your from doesn't have some crazy shaved head gang that pressures people into this haha. and who told you it was unnatractive? most girls like to rub a short haired head

i know E Fred, Gabe, and Pee Wee will bring the hits or they better at least, but i know they will. should be a good game. Does anybody know if how much cleveland likes to throw the ball? and if they got the goods to do it?

I think hillsboro may have the most talent returning. Does anyone know if Walter Fisher Jr. is eligible this year? he's that huge LB right? anyways the poles look about usual. is anyone going to watch Mo-West scrimmage this fall? i think the offense will solve the problems before then.

Jungle, i agree with you about scooter, he's raw. I don't think the patriots gave him enough touches against West last year. Don't think because one dumb person talks smack and fuels other team's fires, that all West people are like that. Don't make your self sounds like that guy by sayin stuff about Maryville, i don't see Jeff Co. Schedualing anyone hard. And don't try to mention DB, cause you guys have to play them

someone told me they saw Scooter at a track meet this spring and he was up to about 170 lbs. I was just wonderin if anyone knew for certian. cause last year he was around 145 or 150
