Don Woods gets my vote, he's actually turned Morristown West's program around from a horrible team to a team that constantly goes deep into the playoffs. Before he came West was usually 2-8, and on a "good" year 5-5. in the past 3 years Morristown West is 36-5. They have also had 2 undefeated regular seasons since he has been the head coach. That's impressive to me. Don't get me wrong, Quarles is good, but if if I walked into a program as stacked as Maryville I would also have great success.

i bet Carter would like to have him back, but i doubt he would want to go there. what was Carter's record? 3-8? i dunno it was somethin like that, and Morristown West ended up 12-2.

greenville loses 2 startings WR's, QB, TB, 2 LB's, 2 DB's and a few more people, most of them play both ways so they've lost some really good players, but they always produce more good ones.

West actually only lost 3 OL starters and 1 TE and both D Ends are back, one starting reciever is back, #4 (moore). so they lost about the average number of players on offense. West's Defense only lost 2 people.

Lord Infamous, you seem to know what your talking about so i'll ask you. i heard that 7 starters on Maryville's football team do not live in the school district. If that's true that gives Maryville the same advantage as a private school and that's just not fair, but like i said i've just heard that. So if anyone else knows anything about it or wants to coment on it go ahead.

yeah billy goat maryville does have an advantage by getting players from other zones. it's almost like bein a dang private school. it's also that way in greene county, if you a good athlete at a small not so good school like chucky doak or somethin then you can go win at greeneville if your parents let you.

everyone just needs to wait till the game is over. everything that you say about any opposing team will just ###### them off. you guys sound like a bunch of six year old girls talkin about whose barbi is better.

First of all Big 35 whatever, you might want to improve your writing skills. After that i would wake up and realize Morristown East will not go 10-0 next year. If i was you, I would try to get a winning season before i spoke of being undefeated. GO WEST.

i think trojan4life is just jealous that al mira is so talented and huge and ripped and fast and just a monster. yeah iowa football may never be the same, i mean come on he eats freakin cars in his spare time. i wonder if the trojans will play him before the playoffs or just keep him under wraps. oh the questions surronding al mira.

yeah we got a conformation on the bus eating, luckily everyone got away before it happened. raw power flowin through those bones.

he's a 6 foot 3 monster who weighs 220 and runs a 4.3, i think he transfered from iran or somethin. to bad the trojans don't give it to him, i heard he ate a bus last week.

i think the trojans should line him up at wide reciever some too, cause ya know he has that 4.3 speed. he's as slippery as a wet trout when ya try to tackle him. oddly he hasn't got many touches this year.

Maryville's student section is crazy, they get on the other teams better than anyone else. they were loud at morristown west friday, especially with that "go bananas" stuff haha.

no one on the west team even knew that stewart has a bad knee or knees or whatever the case might be. it wasn't a cheap shot man stewart is all the time jumpin over people and LaRue just came up and hit him. there was no tactic involved. congrates to maryville too. they played near perfect. we played horrible. no excuses just a butt kickin.

yeah west is having good practices. who'd you hear that from, just wonderin. anyways everyone come out this friday, should be a good one.

ok first of all clinton's QB was good. i think their play selection beat them. when they ran sweeps or let foley (QB) roll out and either pass or run they had success. but they kept running it up the middle. i'm not tryin to justify the close win but morristown west didn't play nearly as well as they could. i wouldn't be sayin anything about not winning another game or how easy it will be to beat them. but 1st they must improve each day.

Chris Davis of Morristown West, he's fast, strong, and big(220). Carl Stewart of Maryville is another excellent runner, fast strong and a big play maker.

maryville complacent? nah. i like what trojanball4 and the truth said, west was the better team the 1st time but maryville was better the 2nd time. i still don't know if people are giving morristown west the credit they deserve not only for beating maryville(and not using the words "wake up call") but becoming one of the top teams in the state consecutivly each year. i can't wait until these two teams meet again should be the game of the week for sure.

just1np, greeneville went 6-4 last year. in the playoffs they beat sullivan south but lost to morristown west 41-0. greenville is suppose to have a very good team this year from what i hear. Baugh (QB) will have a nice year, so will Thomas Lester (RB) but i don't believe they will go undefeated as many have predicted. GO TROJANS

dobyns bennet will have an excelent team that will crush jeff county. fbwiz don't you get it? EVERYONE here HATES you, your probably some wimpy 30 somethin yearold guy who remembers the glory days and when your not creating a computer game consisting of aliens attacking earth your on here annoying people and telling everyone how bad their team will do.
