  1. Laura Hall from Oliver Springs signed with Coach Moore and the Lady Mocs of UTC on November 12. Good luck to her and the rest of the Lady Cats this season!!
  2. How do you think the death of os student will affect the outcome of friday's game?
  3. Oliver Springs 23 Scott Co. 0
  4. Seymour has a more impressive team than OS?? Explain. As for the two questions asked... Can Seymour stop Laura Hall, I've not seen a team yet this year who has stopped her. Can OS stop Johnson, Guess we'll see tonight. Congrats Laura Hall on your great honor of being a Miss Basketball Finalist.
  5. Sorry... good luck to you guys this week.
  6. Hey don't criticize OS. If I remember correctly OS was on their feet cheering for you the entire tournament, is this the thanks they get? And congratulations on a great season. Good luck in Regions.
  7. Hey I got an idea... why don't we just watch the game Friday night and see who wins. Instead of bad mouthing each other teams. How mature is that? I am an OS fan but all I'm going to say is that it's going to be a good game. It all comes down to who wants it more! Kingston or OS? To find the answer to that question come to OSHS on Friday night to see. I'm guaranteeing a good game. No blow outs, just a great championship game. I've thought that the 4AA Tourny has been a great one and Friday nights will be no different. So just let the girls of OZ and the girls at Kingston decide who's better than the other! May the best team win!! And even if OZ wins Kingston is going to say it was the refs, and if Kingston wins OZ is gonna make up excuses. Or the fans of the two. It's just a normal Oliver Springs/ Kingston game. We're rivals, the issue of who's better than the other will never be solved. But as I said, let the girls figure out who's better than the other. Not the fans. Good luck to both teams. And thanks for your time [Edited by softball31 on 2-25-03 3:30P]
  8. Honestly, sounds like a few Kingston people need to grow up. It's a game!! Just like the kids play! Why do you think it'll be any easier to beat OS during the districts. They do play at home you know! No matter how good OS is and how bad Kingston is or vice-versa it's going to be a good ballgame when the county rivals meet. That's just a fact.
  9. I totally agree with an earlier post. Oliver Springs boys outplayed Kingston from the tip. They wanted it and Kingston thought they had it. As for the girls both teams played good enough to win. Oliver Springs had the extra edge wtih the student section and Hall's run in the 4th. Oh and I would love to see Gardner take Hall, lol. Put them one and one and I'm guaranteeing Hall would win. The OS guys played their hearts out and deserved to win. Good luck to all teams in the Districts. Remember... OS is a rough place to play. And for you who were there last night it's gonna be 5x more loud in the tourny!!!
  10. Hall reached 1000 last season in the Regional Tourny. So she actually surpassed that 1000 mark her sophomore year. Quite an accomplishment.
  11. I believe Laura is averaging about 27... not bad huh? [Edited by softball31 on 12-31-02 9:13P]
  12. Does anyone know the score of tonights ball game? I'm not for sure on the time they play, but when someone hears if they could post it that'd be great! Go Lady Cats! Good win against Giles Co In that game does anyone know how many points Hall had?
  13. Goose, you are right. Hall would rather dish it off and win than to be a ballhog. She proved that when she received Regional MVP last year but didn't want it because the Lady Cats lost the Regional Championship. How many other girls would've done that? Yes, she only had 12 points against Hancock Co. but I'm guessing she had about 9 or 10 assists! To be as good as she is, she's even better because of her teamplay. She's never been a ball hog. She's not even thinking about breaking the career total at OS, she's got her eyes set on Murfreesboro!! Good luck this year ladies.
  14. Oliver Springs did make school history this year. Our school has never gotten past the 2nd round of the TSSAA play-offs and we did this year! Give our boys some credit. They had a great season. But as many people has said on this thread, the OS/Sweetwater game is over. Let it go!
