I know it's not the highest level but out of 5 games in the state playoffs so far. Wing oriented teams have won 3. (Webb, union city, beech.) MUS was in the gun and Alcoa is an I team. I know there are 3 more games to go. Trousdale is a wing team (i think) don't know about the 4a game and maryville is a mostly 2 back offense that will throw, used to run a little veer not sure if they do anymore. but not the spread. I think the wing will come out ahead of the spread in state championships this year.!!!

Hey lost old dad. Saw where you posted that someone had to win it in 6a for you to be a believer. In georgia, which has better football than in tennessee, there have been several championships at the highest level. Lowndes has won a few and there are a very vanilla wing t team, and Camdem county has won 2 in the last several years and are in the semifinals again this year. I know for a fact that guy runs it exactly the way delaware ran it. He used their terminology just so he could communicate with them. Camden had always won a lot of games before he got there but could never win it till he got there and started running the wing. I'm not saying everyone should run the wing, I'm just saying it can be a good offense and needs to be respected. different strokes for different folks.

If Stone brings their A game...Catholic looses by more than 15...Anderson County is much better than Catholic..Just hope the referee's are fair and consistent.

Memphis teams are much better than Bearden. Get off the mountains sometimes and live a little.

Stone failed to play hard in the second half. Catholic is better than Anderson County. CAK, their record speaks for itself.
