Comments: Gossett- I don't think it was his idea to be throwing or going no huddle all the time. (Just because someone is named the OC doesn't mean they run their own offense, the head coach has a lot of the input.) Gossett is a home town an academic All American Div III, and is a good teacher of the game. (On and Off the field). Davis- I don't think he was a Student assistant at UT! Manager Yes! I could be wrong. Don't think so. Yes he was a GA at MTSU and a good job so I have heard. I just think Gossett is the better choice. Good luck to both

I think Brian "THE GOOSE" Gossett would be a great hire. Home town guy who knows the kids and community. He would be a great choice.

BaldRooster- Is this message board not designed to discuss opinions on football and/ or related topics? I live in the community and my opinion of the whole situation is that NO TEACHER should curse directly at a child for no reason on or off the field. That's why he is no longer there.

FullMetalJacket- Sounds like you have BAD feeling towards KARNS! I don't know Coach Kirby, but I have watched him on the sidelines during the Karns games in the past years, the way he talks to those KIDS are just WRONG! So I'm sure there are other reasons why Karns Administration thinks that Coach Kirby should no longer be a teacher and a coach at Karns. I know that I would not let my child be coached by someone who's behavior on and off the field is like some WWE/WWF character. Now about your comments on Coach Riley- He is a young coach but knows a lot about the game, the kids respect him. And anyone who know anything about coaching, knows that as a coach YOU ARE ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR PLAYERS! Yes Karns as gave up some points and the offense turns the ball over, that's football. CarterFan, I've been watching the games your O-Line is bad and QB is not bad. I understand they are young but come on they need better coaches. qbdad- Your right they need to STOP SITTING on a 6-0 lead and spread the out the defense and throw the ball, but I'm not sure that they can protect the QB.
