I think Coffee County will win this game by the mental edge alone. Coffee expects to beat Warren County every year. Warren County did not look good at all against a smaller Sequatchie County team (2A). Coffee County is playing better ball right now. I expect a 14 point win for CC.

Congrats to Sequatchie. Even though you guys didnt win I think you represented Dunlap pretty well. I thought Warren County would win by at least 14 just because of the enrollment numbers. Sequatchie gained more from this game than Warren County did. Pound for pound you guys are the real winners. Good luck next week.

I agree with you that smaller schools can win games against schools with larger enrollments. Heck Boyd Buchanan 1A, until this year, would have beaten Warren County 5A the last 5 years. In small pockets smaller schools can compete, but in the long run smaller schools 1A or 2A will not be able to compete against 5A teams or at least make a steady diet out of it. If they could then why have the different classes at all? Face it, a school with 1300 students has a higher chance of getting 11 studs to play on a football team than a school with 300 students. It is hard for great coaching to overcome average coaching when the cards are stacked against you that high. Do you think the best 1A team this year could beat Riverdale?... I dont either nor should they be expected to. Warren County has more to loose in this game than Sequatchie County. If Warren Co. wins then everyone who has any knowledge of high school enrollments will think they should have. If they loose then its like the little kid beat up the bully and Warren Co. has egg all over their face. I just dont understand why Warren County would even want to play a 2A school...well after a losing streak like they went through I guess they will take a win anyway they can get it. Oh well, good luck to both teams.

The Region Warren County is in is the weakest region in 5a. A team with a 2 - 8 record could make the playoffs. Something is wrong with that. I will say Warren County has a decent team this year, and I am glad to see it. Winning a playoff game is a different story. Won't happen this year. Everything else aside Warren Co. should win this game. Just look at the two schools enrollment. A 5A school has a huge advantage over a 2A school. I think Warren Co. wins this one by at least two touchdowns. Sequatchie has a good team but 5A is out of their league. Good luck to both teams and whoever wins should be proud.

Not in football. They have had some good teams, but not any great ones. It will take a great team to win the 3A Championship.

Hmmm. I wonder why they are not head coaches themselves. I am sure plenty of schools out there could use a miracle or two. Have you ever stopped to think that maybe just maybe the athletes that are playing for these coaches might have something to do with the success these coaches are having? What happened in the one loss? No miracles that night to speak of? Why didnt they work a miracle that night? Maybe if a miracle was performed this team would be undefeated.

This game is a joke. Not even worth paying the fee to go watch. The only problem Sequatchie should be concerned with is making sure the Cheerleaders don't run out of plastic footballs to throw at the crowd after every score. You can't even click on Silverdale Academy's link to see how they have done (not a good sign). This game certainly doesnt make a good argument for Sequatchie having a very tough out of region schedule, and yes I know about South Pitt., Westmoreland, and Warren County. Oh well nothing wrong with padding your schedule a little. Isnt that how Bledsoe got their wins in 2002 and 2003? Good luck to Sequatchie even though they could have none and still win this game. I have family members from Germantown that support the team and some who have played there in the past. It's a great school, and I'm just a fan.

I would say the good people in Pierre, South Dakota could care less about the outcome of this game; nonetheless, Germantown wins by 17.
