I believe what wardawg is saying is that having a strength and conditioning program does not turn kids into muscle bound neandrathals. Weight lifting is not the only training you are doing. There is plyometrics and aerobic work outs, speed training, form running, stretching. All this is involved in a good strength and conditioning program.
Please, let me see a bunch of kids coming in wearing T-shirts that say, "We don't have a strength and conditioning program."
You know, when you can't recruit the players who are already amazingly blessed, you have to do something to try and develop them.
