I love the way you get on here and are so critical of kids and you may say you are not, that you are critical of schools but the kids are the ones who go to the schools. And also why are so secretive about where you are from. If you are so proud and can brag so much let us in on this dominating team, as for your comment about dominating Bledsoe I don't know any mtn team that has dominated the boys team from bledsoe year in and year out.

I believe the final score was the biggest lead Seq. had all night. marion put subs in before seq. did. Marion did not shoot the ball well and seq. played better than they have been.

The game was closer at times but Marion always had an answer. From what I saw the only thing that kept Whit. in the game was fouls. The first half was 1 sided in Whit. favor, I think at 1 time the fouls were like 14-2. The sec. half was more even.

Why didnt they play, didnt the football team lose in the 2nd round, which would have been Nov. 12 or 13?

Marion players weren't the ones throwing stuff and causing a stir after the game. As I said before it was an emotional game for Marion (and Hixson from what happened after), coming off a big win just to get to Hixson and then to win and force the if nec. game. Give them a little credit! As for the classless comment, like I said Hixson don't have much room to talk. I have talked to many others who attended to get there read on the umpiring and coach issue and those who were not there for Marion or Hixson don't quite see it your way, as a matter a fact they think the umpires weren't very good and said they didn't hear Marion's coach say anything. That he only came out to question some close calls which is totally in his right. Congrats to the players of both, for advancing. Hixson was the better team in the finals. Looked like Marion was low on energy and the 3 run homer in the first took a lot out of them. By the way just a side note....5 of Hixson's 8 came with 2 outs.

you would say that, 5 close calls went against Marion, the coach only had conversations with umpires, he never raised his voice during those conversations. Hixson's fans are good ones to talk......

The if poss game is today because Marion beat Hixson last night, after loser bracket final in which Marion beat Grundy 3-1.

I dont know about ruined but poor officiating is a problem. I sat behind the players bench in the Bledsoe, Marion game and heard on official explain his foul call when a player was boxing out. His reply was you can't put your body on a person when boxing out, the coach said do what? And the ref said and I quote "you cant put your body on another person, basketball is a non-contact sport." That makes me wonder about these guys!

I guess teams should just not play unless they are undefeated or average 80 a game and have 6'4 post players. I'm sure teams in Memphis wonder why our great Chatt. teams play also.

Let's be objective....Taking nothing away from Hixson, CSAS coaches they are good, also I'll include Coach Goddard in this group(E.R.) but I have seen them have very good teams and lose to valley teams that does not have that level of talent. It happens every year. Let's also not forget all these schools with the exception of CSAS have roughly 300 plus more students than the valley teams. So to say the best coach comes from the city Ic an't go along with.
