  1. no dude I'm serious....I see them as a serious state contender...they're stacked this year...
  2. they're stacked just like every other year......
  3. I'm sure that there is more to the story than just some guy running up and getting in a fight with a college student, just because his team was losing bad....but it sounds like it was pretty funny, wish I could have seen it....anyone else know any more about this subject?
  4. I'd say as of right now, Lincoln County...
  5. I agree, I think the last two games have been a wake up call for the Bruins, that they don't have Everson behind center running the show...but I think Brentwood steps it up from here on out, and takes this game pretty easily, Brentwood, 24 - 14
  6. ahhhh, you can never count Brentwood out, remember last year around this time, everyone started thinking they were over-rated, and then they put it together, and pulled off a State Championship...
  7. Ian Van Horne - Brentwood.....the best All-around backer I've seen
  8. None of Brentwood's starters played except for Welch, who could possibly be a starter
  9. My pick is BA winning BIG...31-7 Wildcat - How can you even still be telling Franklin to bring it on, BGA absolutely got taken to school when scrimmaged earlier this summer, TWICE...BGA had 1 or 2 TD's (each scrimmage) to Franklin's 9 or more (speaking of 1st stringers)... I agree with Rebel, I don't know who is going to win the BGA vs Centennial game...but it won't be a blow out - I think Ryan Carl will have a big game - but then again all Centennial has to do is stop him, and it's over...
  10. Ian Van Horne of Brentwood....lays the hat
  11. it comes down to 3 teams, BA, Brentwood, and Franklin.....from what I hear BA is looking really good right now
  12. loveofthegame, Beech never did score on Franklin 1st string actually (who I might add, was missing 1 OLB, 1CB, and 2 DT's) I think you are referring to the pass in the corner of the endzone, right after Franklin had just taken their 1st Defense out....as for shutting down Franklin's offense, I disagree with as well....I hardly think that Franklin driving it down to the 5 yard line would be shutting them down....Franklin's coaches realized early that they could pass all day long (even with our 2 top recievers gone, as well as 2 OL's, and a TE).....but since it was the 4th day of full pads, they decided to work on what they knew we needed work on...RUNNING the ball... Don't get me wrong, I'm not making excuses...I just wasn't very impressed with Beech, as a team, considering the amount and quality of starters that were out for the scrimmage I was however, impressed with R.J. Meadows, he wasn't as fast as I had expected (maybe he didn't get a chance to show it off) but he could hit, and he filled the holes for Beech's defense very well
  13. QB21, first of all all rushers were supposed to stop once they got 5 yards behind the line (as Franklin's players did 3 plays before the "accident").....2nd of all the kid got blocked by Franklin's FB as the ball was kicked and then ran around and speared the kicker in the side of his knee (it's on tape, and is clearly a cheap shot).....3rd of all I was disappointed in the way the Beech Coaching Staff handled the situation....when confronted about it by Coach Johnson, they acted like nothing was wrong with a kid (same kid both times) coming through and hitting both of our kickers, in the legs, as the ball was clearly gone ATLEAST a second before... Otherwise I was impressed with Beech's team
  14. He had a bad game that game....to tell you the truth he might be better than Kevin Murry most of the time...
  15. what factors would make LC much improved from last year to this year? I'm not disagreeing, just asking.....curious
