  1. To prepare for them of course........the ones just south of Nashville.
  2. Hey, hey, chill a bit. Just asking a simple question. But you do need to care more about others, too.
  3. Congrats from the Franklin area Keith! Warren County will be better for your efforts.
  4. This is "hd's" sister's team. Have a good summer. See you around the press box.
  5. Who can match it? Granted it may be a reflection on the "club" ball in the area, however you got to understand......he get's a mix of players that have to become a team in his system in a short period of time..........most club coaches can't do such in the other 9 months! Hands down, Jim Burchett delivers!
  6. Well, I'm glad it's "free to reply" because that's the only reason I would reply to such a ridiculous ranking as you've published........did you forget that DII just went through a "double elimination" regional and state competition? Your Rankings are rank, they stink, they show know common sense, nor do they rely upon factual evidence(see above). Enough said.
  7. BGA pitching returning everyone plus some that saw only JV action this year(excluding Benefield who saw limited action on the mound as a Sr). Caudill (Injured this year) Ridings Norman Lovell Ross Johson Bougrat Sorry BigRed, but Ridings will have a year of "bigger, stronger, faster" under his belt next season. Hopefully the team's hitting will become more consistent with more maturity.
  8. apparently you are not serious enough or you would follow the instructions!!!
  9. What about them? If you think they belong on the list, put them on the list.
  10. Sorry, but we're limited to 10 spots. For other, post your pick. Voting is open throughout June and we'll close it off to be opened next year around May 1.
  11. Congrats to Courtney! You've developed into a fine player over the past 3 or 4 years. My son's team played summer ball against your Columbia team. Nice original pick-off move as a 14 year-old, it caught everyone off guard...even the umps..... good luck at Motlow.
  12. They did it by classification last year. Click on Baseball on the slide out menu..... to the left
  13. The next statistic to add is the number of scholarship athletes that are associated with each of the teams......would be interesting to see that stat.
  14. Wes, all of these are for boys results? and where did the Wildcats fall in the tally?
  15. I am still amazed at how Baylor shut down CBHS. What happened to CBHS' hitting against Baylor? How can a team score 10 runs in the first two games and go goose eggs in the next two?
  16. Middle Tn would be a great location for baseball. The following locations are within 30 minutes of the other or less. MTSU Shelby Old Timers Park Greer Stadium (sounds) Lipscomb University Vanderbilt University Twitty City Trevecca Belmont Univ MBA BGA I'm sure there are other quality fields that I've not listed in addition to these.
  17. I'm referring to the 40/240 project that seems to be going on now for over 2 years. I make at least 5 or 6 trips to Memphis every year for either baseball or soccer. Just giving feedback as asked. I should have checked the state highway construction website........just didn't think about it, although every street we took had construction. Just our tough luck. Like you said, you have to live with it.
  18. Who did Baylor have pitching and where is he going to school? Is that score correct? I can't believe CBHS didn't score a run. What happened?
  19. The CBU field was not great at all. $5 for parking a half a mile from the field(alright maybe a 1/4 of a mile) and then paying $6 a head....$17 for a couple riding together to watch one ballgame. Playing in West TN is definitely a disadvantage to East TN teams. Construction traffic was herendous around Memphis. $1 for an 8 ounce water..... You know folks having to go to the expense of travel is already very expensive. TSSAA should rethink a number monetary issues with the event. Great teams to watch. TN should be proud of it's programs.
  20. Probably when the "monsta" pitches!!
  21. Wes, good getting to know you. Good luck in your endeavors. HS ball is over for me.......except you might see me stop by for a few innings next year.

    Baylor v BGA

Umps weren't BGA's problem.......... Big Red.......come on you've been the beneficiary of the Greg Maddux, Tommy Glavine "strike zone" too! Hey, hitting the spots is good when it works. Are you playing summer ball this year for H&S?
  23. FrankL didn't say anything rude, what are you reading....it's just a question......grow up
  24. Kerr, weren't you on the PA at the games talking about shrimp???
