The word around school today was that ESPN was coming down to interview The Bear and on December 27th will be aired on Sportscenter at 1:00 am. I encourage all of you to tune in to see how the " hide-away" man has been going about his business for the past few years, after Dustin Lad Davis, Josh Keltner, and crew all graduated and moved on from the panther squad.

well here's the true story... A few boys in about a 93 model chevrolet car drove up beside a girl who was talking to her boyfriend and started somewhat harrassing her, but basically just wanted to talk to her, and the girl said to leave, and the boys proceeded to call her an unclean name, and the boyfriend didn't like that and the guys said " what are u gonna do" and the b/f entered the gym to get a few friends ( including myself) and the waverly boys said a few more mean things and left. We lewis countians all went to mcdonalds like we always do after a game and were filled in about the story and the guys that did the things from waverly drove through and the boyfriend went over there along with about 15 other guys and was angry, and the passenger in the car was like SHUT THE____ UP and flipped us off, and that led to a few things but mainly all of us chasing them out of town, the way it should have been.... a week later coincidently we were paired against waverly in the semifinals of the regional tournament, and a few fans went there and waverly decided to bring a bunch of people over to our side and act all bad about things that never should have happened, caused by their own stupidity and rudeness, but needless to say the situation is over now, and i expect there to be no bad blood. The End!

nope, but i hope camden does well in the tournament, i'd like to see that someone from 6-2A won it all....

but either way, when camden loses in the 3rd round they can only say they got that far, no one remembers any team that got to the 3rd round and lost, lewis has ANOTHER region championship, and no other team can say that this year. But Hatton gets the FB all region, Colley gets DB, and Zach Wright gets the LB.... all from Lewis Co.

I know I am proud of you guys. I played with ya'll for 2 years when we were losing like crazy in middle school. I wish i would have played the last 4 years. I love all ya'll.

Congrats to Camden. Congrats to Ezell. Lewis County looked to be the better team last night, but coughed the ball up in the end inside the 10 yard line twice. Killed us. Ezell played great, and i expect them to do well. They have many talented players, and won the game with their athleticism. That quarterback is one of the best i've seen in high school football. Good luck Ezell, good luck Camden.

Hatton is everything but soft. he's made tough run after tough run all season. Come watch him play tonight and you'll see.

A key thing for Lewis Co. that helped them is that we took their crowd out of it. When they got into the game again Camden started doing good, then we took them out again. They go nuts and it's loud because they are so close to the field, although Friday night we were louder than they were, that's a small thing that has a big influence in my opinion. I got Camden by 13 because they are mad, they wanted the championship and Lewis Co. took it away, look for the boyds to tear it up.

I actually heard that there in fact were t-shirts printed right when the game started. That's why some of the losers that weren't wearing shirts walked over to our side, they were asking if we knew where the shirts were because they were cold, and had to paint shirts on themselved. We all replied " We don't know man" and the kept on walking, i felt bad for them because not only did they lose, they had to wear no shirts the entire game! I reckon once they started getting beat the printers didn't send them to the game due to the embarassment they would have had to deal with, those poor poor boys had to go shirtless the whole time! sad sad sad.

I told Coach Sharp good luck before the game today, and he replied " We're gonna need it tonight" He knew it would be tough, but he knew there was a chance.

Lewis County's pass defense is tough, except for a fluke luck play last night they gave up hardly nothing. Although had #82 not quit on the play where he was wide open it woulda been different.... but that has alot to do with the fact that 2 starting DB's were resting that play.

So what were the final standings? and What's it looking like for the matchups?

Ya'll show good class, i respect that. Lewis Co. played solid. Camden played a good 2nd half, but Lewis Co. blew them off the ball the 1st 2 quarters. Camden is tough, everyone knows that. I called it 2 weeks ago on how it'd turn out, Good luck Camden and the rest of the region. Congratulations panthers on the championship. I have no voice!
