  1. Oh my bad. I had it in my head that the brackets were opposite of that.
  2. I didn’t see them losing to white county after beating them twice by 30+ either, but here we are. I hope they play East Hamilton as well as they played them the first time around. I’m sure EH has improved since then, but I know if the Lady Panthers play their game they should be fine.
  3. I’m an idiot. If they both win their first round games, they’ll meet in the second round and one of them will be out before the region championship is played.
  4. Congrats also to Tessa Miller and Mattie Buck sharing the co-defensive player of the year honor. Completely deserved. I know I couldn't pick between the two. Also congrats to Emma Capps all district and Annah Goss honorable mention all district and to Coach Buck for Coach of the Year honors. I would love to see the breakdown of all the district honors.
  5. Stone wins the coin toss and goes in to the tourney as the #3 seed.
  6. I think they are voting on all of that Monday.
  7. The rematch was a different outcome than the first game. I guess maybe Stone does have the depth to run with a highly skilled team like Clarkrange. ( who is, in fact, incredibly fun to watch and definitely highly skilled. ) good luck to both teams in the post season.
  8. Stone avenges their earlier season loss to Clarkrange, winning 57-45.
  9. I wasn’t about to touch this one. But Stone wins 57-45. It seemed much closer than that. Was 23 -23 at halftime.
  10. Where is LadyCavs Fan? I was unable to attend last night's game and was looking forward to his recap.
  11. Warriorettes come out with the dub 61-57.
  12. If I’m not mistaken the freshmen and bench played the majority of the second half that game. ( Stone and Cumberland County). Buck is really good to get his bench as much playing time as possible. Having said that, I’m not calling this game either way either. Clarkrange is always top notch.
  13. Stone had the poorest shooting I’ve them start with against Cookeville. I’m talking about even wide open shots. I don’t know if it was nerves or the weight of expectation, but they are a much better team than they were the night we played y’all. If they come out playing tight like that again then I say yes, they are beatable by Cookeville or Rhea and probably even White County. When they come out loose, however, the only team I can see competing with them in this district ( thus far) is Rhea.
  14. I’m sorry to hear that. I know it also has to be frustrating to watch.
  15. Why were they playing better two years ago?
  16. Rhea beat Warren 70-37 last night. I’m tellin y’all- don’t sleep on Rhea. From what I’ve seen so far, they are one of the toughest teams in this district.
  17. I agree it was not really a fun game to watch, largely because of the officials. They called way too many fouls on both sides ( I am curious what the final count is,) and seemed to break up any rhythm either team started to get into. The fans around me agreed as well.
  18. Halftime of SMHS -CHS SMHS 38 CHS 20
  19. I am curious though: have you actually seen the lady panthers play an entire game this season or just clips? I haven’t seen cookeville at all, which is why I’m making no predictions about matchups. I just find it interesting that you mention only Miller and Capps, when they are just two pieces of the puzzle.
  20. I look forward to watching
  21. Cookeville comes to SMHS tonight. Thoughts on how they match up?
  22. She’s improved on her game since then. She is a great all around kid as well.
