Chip...i have been reading through your posts and it seems like all you do is complain and make excuses...It appears as if everyone is against you so just stop trying to argue. I've heard some things about you and it seems like your ego is much more visible than any of your opinions.

I believe Franklin will come out fired up to avenge their only loss of the season thus far. Whoever wins it though I believe will make it to the finals against riverdale. I'm thinking rebels right now!

I dont know a whole lot about the A and AA games but I do know a lot about the AAA game. I think BA by far has more talent and size and will again pound the Big Red into the grass. my prediction DII-AAA: Brentwood Academy 31, MBA 10

I think they were trying to put the best games at night. Last year the BGA game which doesnt really matter to me was in the middle of the afternoon. So now they put their game and D2-AAA at night because it gives the game a more unique look at least i think. I hate high school football during the day. BUt it would be a good game whenever it is played.

I was at the BA game and it didnt rain at all. I think brentwood was just afraid because the ground was wet. It didnt rain at all during the game last night. I didnt even need a rain jacket. The was extremely muddy though. We knocked McCallie's QB down so many times the mud covered his number on the back of his jersey. But there was no reason that anyone, in Brentwood at least, should have postponed their games. And yes there werent as many fans at the game but in turned out to be just a normal chilly classic football friday night.

It will be one of the top matchups in the state on friday but it might not get all the hype that it deserves with all of the other huge games. Brentwood v. Franklin....BA v. MBA for the state championshop

The game is friday at 7 and the UT- Vandy game doesnt matter because it is being played at the Coliseum. The other D2 games are being played saturday.

I dont know if any of yall mccallie guys heard about one of your defenders getting hurt. In the second quarter, Holbert crushed through the line and nailed one guy and he made the tackle but was laying face down for a couple of minutes not moving. They strapped him to a stretcher and took him to the hospital with a neckbrace on. Turns out that he had been knocked unconscious by the hit but he came to and they said there appeared to be no damage to his arms or legs so I think the neckbrace was just a precaution. But both schools showed a lot of class as everyone was quiet for the 10 min or so he was down and everyone clapped for him as he was being taken to the ambulance. Way to go both schools!

I think I heard that the rain was going to be scattered tonight but not a total washout all over the place. I dont think playoff games should be postponed unless its a huge storm with lightning and stuff that dangerous. Teams should be able to play if it is wet and if not then they better hope the other team is even worse in rain. It's just water though.

I'm liking the picks for BA over McCallie but I would not be surprised at all if we met MBA in the finals. It would be one of the biggest rivalry games and BA could fix their past mishaps.

Personally, though i dont like McCallie, I have respect for their program. I think whoever wins friday night will win state. In MY eyes this friday is the state championship game. I wish we had not been placed in the same side of the bracket so that we couldnt meet until next week. I especially hope that all of the McCallie fans talking on here will be at the game friday night. It is going to be a tremendous show of talent. Being a senior at BA, I still believe that BA will grab victory this time before OT comes around. And for the people at CPA, I dont know why you are talking smack to schools like McCallie because they have a lot more hardware to show for their success than ya'll do. BA had a streak of 33 consecutive wins starting in '95-'97. That included 2 state championships in 5A in 95 and 96. They also were ranked #6 in the nation in 95 and #4 I believe in 96. Their team that year was one of the best the state has seen since BA has been around.

I know that BA is not overlooking McCallie. They know they are going to bring it all and they will be ready. The football team is not talking state championship until they get there. This will be a great game but I believe BA is the better team. BA- 31 McCallie- 14

Theo Townsend and David Holbert for Brentwood Academy. They are opposites that complement each other. Theo is small and quick and David is huge and powerful. I believe they each had 600+ yards rushing or close to it. They give BA a powerful running game which opens up the pass. By the way, they are both only juniors so they still have one more year.

I think Christian Brothers will win this because of their defense. It will cause McCallie to turn the ball over and they will be unable to put up enough points. M's offense has not been doing well lately. McCallie will continue their slump and CBHS will travel to BA. As for the winner, i think BA will beat either team that comes.

I think the Mr Football lineman award will go to LB Mustin at BA. He has played solid all year. For back, I think QB Moore at McCallie is out of the race after having some bad games recently. He threw 3 INTs against MBA. I think it is still wide open for this category. I dont know much about the receiver at McCallie but I do know that Adcock and Fuson at BA should get some good looks for it. I dont believe Adcock has thrown an INT yet this year.

That is awesome for BA but they need to get ready for the playoffs now. They will more than likely have McCallie or CBHS in Round 2.

Tyler Griffin, sophomore at BA, can hand out a fair share of licks. He knocked a Briarcrest player out of a game for a quarter or two after crushing him on a crossing pattern.

This will not be a game at all. BA will get the lead early...very early...and then put in the back ups to give the starters a rest for the playoffs.

hey i thought people from mccallie had some class, I guess not. I also thought they knew how to win and move on. You are being such an idiot! You whined when your RB got hurt and said you couldnt beat BA now. Well you were right about one thing...you wont beat BA again.

BA will beat Goodpasture handily. Their defense will stop Buggs but he still could get a touchdown maybe two. The BA offense is hitting on all cylinders. Jefferson Adcock has yet to throw an interception this year (7TDs-OINTs). BA has two good runners, one with size and one with moves. They will run right over Goodpasture's D. The seniors are pumped for homecoming and the chance at giving a team their first loss. It may be a slow scoring start but BA will turn it on and get points. BA 42 GP 14
