  1. What that guy said is true. It takes just as long to drive from the tri-cities area to Memphis then it does to drive to the southern tip of Canada. eh.

What did he end up clearing?

Also, Adarius Bowman of Notre Dame. He jumped 6'10 at state last year.
  4. The USN runner, Krisna Curry was an 8th grader last year. She will try to defend her title this year as a freshman. Also, her winning time in state was 56.16, which was almost 3 seconds better than 2nd (58.97). [Edited by KGP3428 on 3-27-03 7:52P]
  5. Did your 4x100 team run at state last year?

    Chris Wilson of Knoxville Halls.
  7. No automatic timing...no state record. I bet that he has yet to run a F.A.T. race this season, but I could be wrong.
  8. Alright then...both of your relay teams have a lot of improving to do. Your 4x200 and 4x400 relays both finished dead last in state, and the times that you ran would not have even won A-AA. And while it is nice that the entire relays was made up of sophomores, it doesn't mean that your team will automatically be better. I'm not trying to put you down...I'm only giving the facts. Good luck to your team this year.

There is a guy out of Knoxville (I think his name is Chris Wilson) who has been consistently clearly 6'8, and I believe jumped 6'9 in an indoor meet. He is the defending AAA state champ.
  10. Can anyone give me some results from the all-comers meet that took place at GPS on friday?
  11. Do you run for Soddy Daisy? If you do, your team has a lot of improving to do. Soddy Daisy finished tied for 41st place in state last year with 3 points. [Edited by KGP3428 on 3-14-03 5:08P]
  12. Thanks for respecting my opinion buddy...I love you too.
  13. My list: 1. He Got Game- Ray Allen and Denzel together!!! 2. Rebound 3. Blue Chips 4. Heaven is a Playground 5. White Men Can't Jump 6. Hoop Dreams 7. Love and Basketball (tie) Space Jam 9. Above the Rim 10. The Sixth Man I've seen Hoosiers so many times that I've gotten tired of it, so this time around it did not make my top 10...maybe next week it will be up there. Also, what are One on One and Sunset Park about?
  14. Wow! I hope your grammar is not an indication of the quality of education that you receive at Ezell Harding.
  15. You guys calling me a liar? It's okay you don't have to believe me. In fact, I've decided to skip college in order to join the Golden Spike grand prix while I'm still in my prime. My daddy says that any time now, all the shoe companies will be fighting over me. See you guys in Athens!!!
  16. That's nothing, man. The other day at our meet, I forgot my spikes so I had to run the 100 and 400 in my hiking boots. There was also a 15mph head wind, but I still managed to run a 10.13 and a 46.24. I guess that is good for me at this point in the season, but I know that I can go much faster, although I probably won't have much time to train for the sprints because I am a full time thrower and will most likely break the state record in the shot this year.
  17. Moore County fans get on coacht and bash everyone they play. Lately, their targets have been FRA and Ezell. I guess they just think that they're God's gift to basketball...which they're not.
  18. No one from FRA writes for the Tennessean.
  19. I would just like to congratulate NCS on their region championship. They are by far the most improved team I have seen this year and definitely proved my predictions wrong. It was hard to watch two teams that our team defeated earlier in the year play in the finals, but you guys earned it. The best of luck in sub-state.
  20. There is region in track. It is officially referred to as sectionals, but it is the meet in which the top two finishers in each event qualify for state.
  21. And last year in 02', the Ridgeway guys beat Columbia Academy 1-0 in the state finals. Also the most state titles that Ridgeway has ever won in one calender year is 4 (2002). And in one school year, the most they have won is 3. [Edited by KGP3428 on 3-6-03 3:16P]
  22. just to let you know, the Ridgeway girls got beat by FRA in the state soccer semis this year.
  23. If that is the case then I stand corrected: ring count: (class of 03') Ezell- 5 FRA- 7 And RealGoEagles, no one is hiding. Don't hate just because we're fast, but you are correct about your last point. Ezell has a total of 16 state championships (12 softball and 4 others in four different sports) and FRA has a total of 12 (3 baseball, 4 boys CC, 3 boys track, 1 FB, 1 girls soccer). And don't worry, I won't say anything about Ezell hiding behind their softball team...opps
