  1. you know who says something like that?...someone who can't dunk, never could, and will never be able to. I'm sorry you hate the dunk so much, but it can be a huge advantage in a close game in terms of changing the momentum, not to mention that dunks are very entertaining to watch. Please, don't be a hater.
  2. "Let's Go" by Trick Daddy will have you good to go. And also "Still Ballin'" by TuPac (ft. TD)...the man was a genius.
  3. Don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere else, but ex-DCA football and basketball and ex Vandy football standout, MJ Garrett is currently on MTV's hit reality show, Real World (Philly). If you wanna check him out on national tv, whatch MTV on tuesdays at 9pm CST...anyways, thought this was very interesting.
  4. Dan O'Brien vaulted around 17 ft...not 13'. His pr is 5.25m, which is about 17'4.
  5. excellent post, saywhat?
  6. Michael Ayers does not live in Memphis and he finished 4th. He's a freshman from Ravenwood (Brentwood), and if he keeps progressing the way he has been, Bingham's record won't last but a few years. Oh, and like Philipa, Lauren, and Molly, he also trains under Gary Kinder.

    FRA

that will make any party, no matter how good it started out, into a bad party.
  8. Its a typo. He totally misused that word in what he wrote. Don't get on me. What do you mean claim? I am a decathlete. I'm also pretty darn good at my other events. The crap posted in that other thread has nothing to do with this one and I'm done talking about it. Step off. Nah, it's cool man...I just messing with ya...no worries
  9. I just have a couple things to add: mysteryhurdler, if you are in fact a hurdler, then you should know that there is no jumping involved. BHSfootball, you should probably learn to spell the word correctly before you start claiming that you are a decathlete (especially since you are calling people idoits and telling them that they need to learn how to spell on other threads).
  10. Handtimes don't count.
  11. Really went out on a limb there, bud.
  12. Just to even things out, FRA also had a few starters still playing basketball (Lucas Foley, Michael Young, etc.)
  13. I'm not trying to put anyone down here, but a 14'6 vaulter who is hoping to jump 16'-17'!!! within the next month (I'm guessing he's wanting to reach this goal by state) is going crazy and needs to set more realistic goals.
  14. Oh, Coach Kinder also coaches Molly and coached Cassie as well.
  15. It's not in the air...it's in the coach. Gary Kinder, who was an Olympic decathlete in 1988, coaches (along with Philipa's dad, Brad Davies) both of them along many other of the state's top athletes.
  16. Coker is very fast...probably the fastest sprinter in TN (HS), but not even close to Bingham all around. Also, no one on here cares what is 40 time is...a fast 40 doesn't mean anything in track (outdoors).
  17. Bingham could possibly score twice as many points as Bumbi.
  18. Michael Bingham...by far
  19. BGA's surface is very soft which makes it very slow...the same goes for MBA's track. The fastest high school tracks in TN that I've run on are McCallie and GPS. Two great places to jump are FRA (wind, wind, and more wind) and Kenwood (gotta love the ramp-like runway). Also, I personally didn't like Briarcrest's track, mainly because their runway wasn't long enough for me and because of the puddled water in lane 1. However, the facilities around the track (ei. the "clubhouse") were amazing.
  20. No...way too slow. They're really aren't any great high school tracks in TN (or pretty much anywhere else) because no one has mondo. If you want to run on a great track in middle TN, go run at the Great Eight.
  21. handtimed?...I'm guessing
