There is no all of a sudden to it. I have been working on my speed sense the day basketball got over and I have inproved greatly. What does a fullback matter to wartburg anywas not like that really use em and I'm sorry you guys talk like your linemen are gonna be scoring the TDs for you too. Last year you don't remember MPG when he took John Ts pass like 70+ yards for a TD. You all said JT ran a 4.4 and MPG left him laying on the ground without even touchin him.

CaK lives and dies by the pass. Oneida and Coalfield will both have good DBs but if they don't blitz than any good passing team like CaK will pick them apart. I don't care who you are no one is going to gaurd someone 1on1 or zone and no one get open if the QB has 10sec to throw the ball. Passing to me is kinda like 3 point shooting somenights you will hit everything some nights your cold and sometimes you just are about 50%. When CaK made it to the 4th round last year I went to that game and I know I would have even hated catching the ball in like 0degree weather. This region like last year is a toss up whoever comes to play on friday night comes out with the victory.

First of all MPG was fastest in the region last year and ran a 4.5. I think we will be the fastest team in the region/county this year. Whoever said that about D1 schools looking at Coalfield, yes you dont know if they have or havnt. You will find out when me and mpg deside where we are going to college. In 4 months I went from a 4.9 legit to a high 4.5 low 4.6 legit. Yea, I wanna beat wartburg but that isnt on my top concern for next year. Wartburg doesnt have a chance against anyone in the region besides Harriman all they care about it county champs which doesnt matter to me. We have 3 people legit 4.6 and below this year. Don't belive me you dont have to you all can find out when we play how fast we are. Sure your line might be better than ours but it isnt gonna be nothing like last year because no lineman worked out last year.

I know Brent Hamby is fast not sure about the other 1s. I thought it was just funny how 17bulldog talked like he could run a 4.4 in his sleep like it wasnt nothing. Funny also Wartburg is more worried about county camps than making the play-offs. They get county camps and think they won state. They have 2 times as many people as any other school in the county wow you guys are good.

I'm glad to know you guys are going to kick to us. Lets see my soph year I almost returned the opening kick-off for a TD after that you guys didnt kick it keep again. That is just good coaching though. Wartburg must have got some new players also cause I never heard of a 4.4 that wasnt a senior last year. Anywas doesnt matter you guys will kill us we stink. heck is fast as you are just give you the ball everytime and let your awsome line blow holes and you will kill us. Gotta love cocky people.......

I wouldnt think it would be fair for the 1A. You have the littler 2A schools droping to 1A which most 1a schools have 150-220 kids. Then your playing in the region with schools with over 300 kids thats for every 2 athletes the other school has 3. Ya, play each other like us and wartburg for rival but there is no way year after year Coalfield can compete with Rockwood,Oliver Springs,Wartburg in just the region and out of it playing schools like Alcoa no way year after year to be in the play-offs.

I didnt see where it said anything about how were going to whip Wartburg. We have 3 boys on our team that ran 4.4-. MPG is a legit 4.4,BD legit 4.5, I'm a legit high 4.5-low 4.6 come down anytime I'll be more than happy to show ya. Yesterday was my first time I ran a 4.45 in my life last year about this time I was running a 4.8-4.9 and by the time we kick it off I'll be running a legit 4.4

One thing this year is going to be our best thing is field position. No one is going to want to punt to me,mpg,bd and no one is going to want to kick off to us. There for I think we will have great field position all season long. Besides Wartburg game is nothing but pride, I wanna get into the play-offs.

CAK depends on what they recruit. Ant gonna be much passing this year *execpt CAK* I think everyone is just going to try to run over everyone and the biggest and badest team wins.

Region will be like last year its just going to be who shows up on friday night. I admit the QB spot here at Coalfield will be by far our weakness. Last year besides MPG speed wasnt at coalfield at all, but I think we have 3 of the top 5 speedsters in the region this year. Lineman can't say much thought our line was going to be great last here and look what happen. Last years lineman only 1 of them worked our maybe 3 times a week, but this year our Coaches have stepped it up a notch and is really riding all the lineman. Whoever said the refs gave the game to coalfield must not have been there. This Was 1 of the few times that this season we had/will have good refs. We played like crap but the game can go anyway anynight. Game didnt count for either 1 of us only bragging rights.

Someone from CaK tell me if Mark is going to the east-tn awards thing? I know I'm going it's from 6-7 so I think we, we be able to get back in time. I don't think this game is going to be won by more then 10pts either. I know it's not the same CaK team and we arent the same Coalfield team, but anyone can be beaten on any given night.

I dunno about the hunting thing thought must be talking about someone else cause no way I could get up that early and sit in the freezing cold for something thats about a 30% chance gonna walk by. Anywas I wasnt even going to play basketball this year, but being Ricky's,Brandon's last year I had to play. Football has alwas been my favorite sport and will be forever. If I cannot make it at the next level I will start coaching little kids. I wouldnt even be able to do anything though if it wasnt for the Lord himself who has blessed me in ways I cannot even explain. Looks like football in our region next year will be able to go 1-5 anyway again. We finaly got some lineman working out this year though so that will help. Anyways thank you guys.

Yea, I have to admit you guys out played us in the secound half. All your points came from in the paint where you had open shot after open shot. I think you guys played better without your big boys. We had them in foul trouble early, but when you put all your guards in we still couldnt get it into the post very good. Still think that game just like everygame in the district besides a few teams will go anyway anynight. I think it will come down to the tournament to deside whos the best.

Steven Hensley from Coalfield 986yards 44 catches 10 games only a Junior. His team also had a 1000yard rusher thats a Junior.

Thats just what I heard about Cumberland Gap being 2 great basketball teams. I think we are getting better game by game. We are getting to know where everyone is going to be on the court and who needs the ball at that in the game. I would hate to see Me,MPG,Foster,Lowe catch fire in a game. Most likey its not gonna be everyones night thats why different people step up when we need it. Thats whats gonna make us good!

Cumberland Gap is 2 great basketball teams into 1 school. You people just keep saying we ant no good doesnt bother us. I'd rather be ranked last and pull off upsets then to be first and be upset.

Dang the way it's looking I'm gonna hate playing harriman. We ant no good anyhow so I wouldnt even worry about us. This is the same team from last year that don't care¿. Looks like this just might be a JV game. If I was you guys I wouldnt even dress varsity no point in it if you guys are gonna blow us out.
